For a place with "Half-price" in the name they sure do have crappy prices. Their media section is a joke. They have video games that are priced $30-40 over what any local game store or any online sources like eBay charge. I suspect that they purposely charge more for them so when they have their 20-50% off sales the prices will be around what normal market value is after discount. I guess I have no reason to shop here the other 360 days of the year they arent running sales. Its hard to believe that this is a new location because its so poorly set up. They put their DVDS and Blu-rays right next to the checkout so youre forced to do this awkward side shuffle through a line of people waiting to check out. If you have two people trying to look at the movies at the same time, its just game over. Bottom line, this is a piss poor example of a what a good half price books location can be. If you think youre getting a deal here, youre either a fool or you got lucky.

I love stopping by Half Price Books whenever nearby. Theres always a decent selection and some harder-to-find books that have been out of print. The staff is helpful and has pointed me in the right direction anytime I had a question. Ive never sold to HPB, so I cannot speak to that experience. The new location on East Broad is really nice as it was brand new when we visited in December 2016, but it felt sterile and not as homey as some of the other locations.

I have mix feelings about this store. its very clean neat and organized however check out is horrible. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes but when theres a promotion the cashiers never seem to know and they are always rude it seems. I have only wonderful things to say about the rest of the store and my experience but I absolutely dont like check out just because of the attitude and lack of knowledge at check out.

Favorite retail store by far. Ive picked up some great first edition classics, including To Kill a Mockingbird, a signed copy of Fahrenheit 451, Dickens Dombey and Son" (1880s special edition) and Tale of Two Cities (first edition, 1958 I think). Half price got me started with my passion for collecting rare books. I love the deals on records, too. Great place for quick gifts.

The books are cheap. They have new releases. Not only do they sell books, but they also sell cds, tapes, albums, dvds, video and computer games, and other various items. Their clearance rack is fantastic. This is my absolute go to book store. However, it has been moved to East Broad Street in Reynoldsburg. The Brice Rd. location is no longer there.

Although it has a smaller selection than say the Lane Avenue location their service is head and shoulders above that store. It is refreshing to walk in and the entire store doesnt smell like a camels nut sac. Their employees properly bathe and have much less body odor than the Lane Avenue employees.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I sold several books for a fair price and didnt have to wait long for an offer. I enjoyed browsing in the store. They have a lot of good books and other interesting merchandise such as new adult coloring books, calendars, CDs, etc.

I really like this store but the surrounding area isnt fantastic. However, that means they have some better items in stock during their clearance sales, so I usually stop in. Its a good place to find some old records and vintage video games if youre into that.

Nice new store, but unorganized. Called ahead to confirm inventory, got to store and they couldnt find it. Waited ~15 minutes to hear, "I just cant find it." Didnt get an apology. I said, "Thank you", then left.
