I love books a million because its a bookstore and its close to my house... However, the people that work there are rude. One time we went to the customer service desk and the person said "What do you want?" It was completely unprofessional and this wasnt the only incident... Not to mention they know nothing about books. I ask about a popular Author and they look dumbfounded. Im positive that its because they hire people to push their card. I interviewed there once and thats all they asked me to do. "Do you feel comfortable pushing our store card?" "Have you had experience with cards?" Being a book blogger I am very knowledgeable about all things books and not once did they ask "Why do you want to work here?" or "Do you read?" I just found the whole process to be a joke. Now when we go in and the cashiers care only about the card I just shake me head. Wish they cared more about the art than a dumb plastic card.

By far this Books A Million is the best bookstore I have been in my whole life of 52 years. To say it is large would be a great disservice!! It is gigantic and surprising. Plan on spending 3 plus hours here. Once you find one item begin exploring the rest. Grab a shopping cart if you love to read as you will need it. Books, DVDs comics, cds and used books adds to the block long selection of magazines. Dont forget your iced coffee to sip on while flipping through your treasures in their coffee bar. Staff is great. Visited from St. Pete and now marked once a week visit.

I love Books-A-Million. Not only do they have a great selection of books but they also have unique gifts, comics, etc. Customer service is excellent. For my brothers Christmas present I wanted to buy him some some of the Walking Dead Comic Books. To my surprise their were hundreds, I began to get slightly overwhelmed trying to figure it out. A sales associate saw me and sat next to me on the ground & explained everything to me & showed me exactly where to start. I also discovered they have an awesome assortment of adult coloring books

Cool store, can spend lots of time browsing the books. Theyre one of the few places that sell blind box vinyl toys. I dont like that the employees are forced to try to talk you into getting their discount card program, as its not free. They are already expensive, and I dont shop here often enough to buy a membership, yet they scoff and continue to pressure me and every other customer. Please, corporate Books-A-Millon people, stop this! Your employees hate it too! A "no thank you" should be enough to let the cashier stop pushing.

Everyone was friendly except the stock lady who was rude when I asked where something was located but to be fair she could have been having a rough day so Ill give her the benefit of the doubt. Good selection of TPBs and markdowns. Coffee was good and there were spots to sit and read. The layout was a bit odd but I liked the local intrest/history section. Overall a nice place.

I will never shop here again , the cashier yesterday refused to sell me comics that he had on his cash register in a box . They came out yesterday and he said they wouldnt be put out till tomorrow. I checked back three times yesterday and now twice today . Today I was told they were put out yesterday. Never again BAM. Will not be renewing my membership

Im not into digital books so I love visiting physical book stores. This particular BAM is in a pretty run down shopping center, so its a really horrible location and atmosphere outside. The inside is perfectly fine, although the prices are usually higher than Amazons.

This is a pretty big Books-A-Million compared to others. The place is pretty well kept, but their registers need a major upgrade! The workers here are nice and theyre very helpful as well. Their book selections are great and their set up is pretty cool as well.

I love going to bam. I love reading so maybe Im biased. The staff is always lovely with my feral children. They are also lovely with me and my husband. I like that they do activities on many Saturdays. Homeschooling is better with books a million around.

If you visit the Books-A-Million on 14th St W and want great service ask for Greg. I believe he is a store manager there. I needed to return some items but couldnt find my receipt and he went out of his way to help me out. Thanks, Greg!

Love to wander the aisles and check out all the books...but then again, Im a book-a-holic. Give me a book and a quiet place to read, and Im probably at Books-a-Million...oh, and Im super happy, too. Helpful, pleasant staff

Love the place. But to Over Priced Coffee shop with the Bookstore. Its pretty clean. Its do get some people in but not a lot of excitement to inform of some events to the Bookstore that others Bookstore have.

Jake, the Barista working on dec24th at 3 pm was surly while taking our order. Not only did he get it wrong twice, he was dirty with stains all over his apron. Never heard of a hand towel or a sink?

Its a decent store. I still prefer barnes and noble but they are not close at all. This one is ok but is bias in certain categories.
