My experience with the AT&T Authorized Retailer in Live Oak, Florida was less than satisfactory. Lindsey, the young sales women changed my rate plan despite assuring me my rate plane would not be changed. In addition she never asked me how long I wanted to finance the phone. She wrote the contract for 20 months when I specifically told here I was trying to keep my monthly payment at or near the current rate. After handing me the contract to sign I saw she had not made the contract for 30 months, assuming I would take the 20 month contract. When I pointed this out she acted like it was impossible to correct and began telling me how much quicker I could get a new phone next time with the 20 month contract. I have to assume she was too inexperienced to void that contract and write a new one or unwilling to do it. I reluctantly accepted the 20 month contract despite it raising my monthly bill, something I specifically told her at the outset I did not want to do. Lindsey managed to take what should have been a fun purchase of my new Samsung Galaxy S7 and turned it into an anticlimactic event. Thats not the end of it. The next day when I returned to the store to get the rate for my data plan corrected to my old rate, the store visit turned into a fiasco with another young sales woman in the store. I regret that I did not get her name but she appeared to be a manager since she coached Lindsey through the process of correcting her error. This young womans tone with me was condescending, bordering on attempting to scold me into silence when I expressed my dissatisfaction over being misdirected the previous day. At one point when my back was turned to the counter the two sales women began joking with each other about my issue, then snapped to when I turned around. It might be a joke to them but it wasnt a joke to me. This insulting and extremely poor service has completely turned me off to this authorized retailer. I am a 20 year continuous AT&T cellular customer. I remained tactful, was not rude, no did I raise my voice or become confrontational, but I found the entire experience disrespectful, frustrating and disappointing. I will not purchase anything from this AT&T Authorized Retailer in Live Oak again. I should have driven the 20 miles to Lake City and purchased my Galaxy S7 from the AT&T corporate store where I have been treated well for six years. I just thought Id help support the local AT&T store. I am so sorry I made that effort. They will not get my business again. Furthermore, I will be certain to tell anyone willing to listen to me not to waste their time in this store. I am so irritated over my treatment that I am seriously considering returning the Galaxy S7 to the store, paying the $35.00 return fee, and getting a new phone from the corporate store. These two self centered young women ruined my S7 purchase experience, and no doubt would probably screw up the return and reactivation of my old Galaxy S5 in the process. It would not surprise me. Find another AT&T store is my advice to you. J. Daniell

This first time I went was great! Jason was knowledgeable (I thought) and very nice (I thought) Id had some issues with AT&T-Id ordered a new phone from the website-which never arrived. He set me up & I was ready to go. He told me I could bring in the phone Id ordered-once it arrived-and hed ship it back for me. I went to the store today for a few different reasons. 1st-to return the phone that had finally arrived. 2nd-Id never received a receipt from when I purchased my iPhone there before. 3rd-I couldnt figure out why I was charged so much. I spoke to a nice young lady. She told me they were unable to ship my phone back. Apparently I raised my voice (in no way did I mean to sound B___y!) Jason literally jumped on me yelling-"IF SHE SAID WE CANT RETURN YOUR PHONE THEN WE CANT RETURN YOUR PHONE!" I was shocked! The place went silent as everyone stared at me. Ive never in my life been yelled at by a customer rep! I asked him why he felt he had to yell at me? He said I raised my voice at the young lady. (His girlfriend? Im trying to figure out why hed ever speak to someone that way?) I then apologized to the young lady. I felt bad that I maybe raised my voice-but Im pretty sure I did not. Im not like that. I asked his name -I figured if I left and called we could then talk at a better level. He said "Im Jason and go ahead and report me!" When I told him that it was he who told me theyd return it, he just said theres no way. Im old. I use a cane and Im in a lot of pain. I dont want or need to be treated like that. He embarrassed me so I had to leave. Jason-even if youre having a terrible day try not to humiliate your customers. Theres never any reason to yell-even when you feel youre right. When I was in before I let most of the people go before me-as I knew Id probably take longer. You complimented me saying I was kind. I dont expect you to remember me but I do expect to be treated with some semblance of respect. When I returned to ask some questions about my phone you embarrassed me-you yelled at me! I felt I had to leave to prevent further embarrassment to myself and to just get away from your anger. Please try to be a nicer person no matter how busy you are. There is never a good rationalization for the way you acted. As of now Ill not be returning to this store which is sad. I thought Id support my local AT&T store but due to this humiliating experience I will now be forced to go to Lake City, FL from now on.
