When I first walked in to the showroom I was very impressed with the selection of motorcycles including new Triumph, Honda, Kawasaki and used HD. My attention was first drawn to a 2015 Vulcan and soon there after the first of two sales persons started answering my questions. I asked for a test-drive and that is when the “Im not sure we can test drive it right now" BS began. This seems to be the norm at most motorcycle dealers these days; they want a FIRM commitment including financial information before a test drive is granted…WTF? Having visited numerous dealers over the past few days I was so frustrated I started to leave but turned around after walking out determined to get that test ride.Thats when Kyle walked up a very polite and knowledgeable salesman. I asked Kyle " why is so hard to test ride a motorcycle these days" and he said “what do you mean let me check and see if we have a Vulcan that is ready to ride”. Kyle soon returned with Jim the Sales Manager and we started talking about all the different motorcycles they offered and that is when Jim said " They would be glad to let me test ride any bike" Jim suggested I might want to check out the 2015 Triumph America LT as well which is similar to the Vulcan. This was not my first rodeo when it comes to buying motorcycles so I recognized the reason Jim was brought in was to size me up, to ask the right questions, to make sure I was truly looking to buy a bike and not just there for a joy ride. In about 15 minutes I was on the road test driving the Vulcan, Kyle on a crotch rocket leading the way. We went a few miles and it started to rain so we turned around and headed back but that was ok because I got my test ride. I asked Kyle if I could look at the Triumph Jim had spoke of and he said "they are in the middle of building it right now but lets go take a look". I thanked Kyle and Jim and let them know my wife and I would return on Saturday for another test ride so she could experience the ride as a passenger. They both suggested that I fill out a credit app on their website so it would save time on a credit decision. They assured me they were masters at getting the best rates. When we arrived on Saturday I requested a test ride on both the Vulcan and Triumph. Kyle asked which one I would like to ride first and since I had already had a test ride on the Vulcan I picked the Triumph. Kyle rode along on the Vulcan and we switched midstream. Turns out we liked the Triumph much better so it was time to start the process unfortunitly thats when the fun ended. Since the online credit check I filled out was for the Vulcan and not the Triumph Jim informed us we would have to start the credit process over again…there goes half my Saturday. So we waited in the back lounge with a broke TV for about 90 minutes Kyle checking on us from time to time offering us refreshments. Jim finally came back and let us know we were approved at a 7.99% rate but informed us we would need to put some money down. We agreed on a down payment and started the process. I asked Jim what kind of deal we could get on the Triumph and he said Triumph was not offering deals on the 2015 America. I asked what kind of deal Fun Bike could give me and again none on the 2015. Unfortunately they did not have any of the 2014 LT left. Of course by this time I had fallen in love with the bike and they knew it...when will I ever learn? Samer, the financial Manager congratulated us on our new motorcycle while Kyle cranked on a siren shouting over the PA "help us congratulate Brent on his new motorcycle purchase" everyone started clapping... I was so proud. Samer then handed us two free lunch vouchers for Mojo’s their restaurant located on the property where we enjoyed wings, fries and a few ice cold Yuenglings The buying experience was amazing even though we left filling disappointed on the deal we got. Bottom line - If your looking for a great deal you may want to look elsewhere but if youre OK with getting a decent price with a truly great buying experience this is the place.

I went to Fun Bike Center a few days ago to buy a balaclava (head scarf) since weather is getting cold. I picked out one that seemed decent, but I wasnt sure if it was the best thing available. I decided to buy it thinking Id do some more shopping around, and if I found something better elsewhere, Id just return this one. While I was there, I also saw some riding pants on clearance sale. I went back the next day to buy the pants and thats when I saw the sign stating the any returns must be made within 5 days, with receipt, and only store credit would be given. I knew I needed to decide quick about the balaclava, so I went to a couple other stores and found something better. I went back to Fun Bike Center prepared to get a store credit, figuring Id just find something else I wanted. As soon as I tried to return it, the parts clerk started acting like a jerk saying they couldnt take any returns on this type of item because it could be infected with swine flu. I asked how I was supposed to know there were no returns when I bought it since thats not what their sign says about returns. I didnt even deal with the obvious issue that they let people try on helmets in the store. The clerk took the item in the back and I started wishing I had used a credit card instead of paying in cash. He eventually returned asking what was wrong with the item and if I had worn it. I said I just didnt like the fabric and it hadnt been worn--there was even still a very large tag on the item. He then gave me cash back (not a store credit as their policy states). So, I took my money and ran. Id say there is way too much competition out there nowadays for a store to be so anti-consumer about returns. The fact that all returns must be within 5 days is enough, by itself, for me to take my business elsewhere--except on occasions such as the pants that were on an awesome clearance sale. If Im going to pay anything near retail, I definitely want a store I can trust and that seems to appreciate my business. My advice would be to do your shopping somewhere else. But, if you decide to buy something at Fun Bike Center, be sure to use a credit card; so if they try to screw you, you can at least appeal to the card company.

Shady sales team!!! Went in just to check out the triumph street triple. Ive been wanting one for a few years and havent been able to see or hear one irl. Went in and was looking at the bike, a sales guy (Kevin I think) came over and we started talking about the bike. He said he was wanting to get the street triple himself. He was a nice guy. I told him I couldnt buy today and was just looking. After talking for a bit he wanted to sit down and try and make a deal anyways. Why not. So he went to his manager and came back with an otd price of $11,750! He went down the list of the cost and what not. The first thing I noticed was that they said the msrp on the street triple was $10,500 which is $1,100 over the actual msrp of the bike. I told him that it was wrong and he wanted to debate me on it. I told him to go Check his facts and he said he couldnt find anything that said the street triple was $9,400 msrp. I showed him triumphs websit on my phone which has the msrp as 9,400. I told him I wouldnt take it for more than $9,500 otd, he went to his sales manager and said that the best they could do was 10,500 otd, having the bike price at $8,600. So tax on 8,600 = 602, plus 300 in fees = 9,400. So there was a $1,100 difference in what the math said and what price was supposed to be. I asked him where the additional 1,100 was coming from, he couldnt figure it out so he went back to the manager and came back and said that there was an additional grand in fees that they didnt show me in the first place. I said I wasnt interested. Bottom line, weither theyre crooks or they just dont even know the msrp on theyre own products, either way that could have cost some one 2 grand if they didnt do their research or math on the bike beforehand. Definitely not going to buy from them and I wouldnt advise anyone to do so.
