*****AVOID AT ALL COSTS***** I had recently purchased a Groupon which entitles me to a large outdoor banner. The Groupon clearly states for in store use only. I entered this location on Thursday 4/23 in the evening. I patiently waited in line while sales associate Logan ignored me and the customers behind me. Once he finally (and rudely) acknowledged me as a customer I inquired on how to use my voucher. He condescendingly advised me how I needed to order it online. I advised him of what the voucher said, however he never cared to even look at it b/c he “just didn’t understand.” He then handed me a mouse, turned his computer monitor around and told me to “just order it,” and then took the next customer. Obviously I could not order it b/c again it is an “in store” purchase. He then advised me to go home and order it, which again I could not do. This young man could not have been anymore useless. He never even attempted to ask another associate. His inability to provide any customer service and his straight up ineffectiveness at his position was an immediate turn off to me, a customer. I went back the next day 4/24, in hopes of finding an efficient and different sales associate in the print center. Upon my arrival the station was unmanned, about 3-5 minutes later (after having someone paged) a man came over. This man casually walks up to us, again with no acknowledgement until I force him to make eye contact with me. This man, turns out to be an assistant manager. I could not believe a man who lacked such urgency to help a customer was in a managerial position. His name was Lewis and he too insisted that I must use the Groupon online without ever asking to look at it, as I held it in my hand. Ultimately, I left the store and have advised Groupon that I require a refund, which they applied.

This used to be my go-to place for office supplies, but lately they have disappointed. I ordered something online to be shipped to store. I got confirmation it shipped and they said they would notify me when it arrived. I was never notified. I called and they said it was there for days but they did not have my contact info. They had email address and phone number with the order. I received the email saying it shipped. Why did I not get an email when it arrived? There are major holes in their workflow technology. Secondly, I went to get a chair they had in stock according to their website. They could not find one so they walked me to the kiosk where I could order it and the store would have it the next day. After ordering, the employee walked me to the cashier where I paid. I called the next day, chair did not arrive, called the following day, and so on, and so on. They just told me to be patient. Order tracking yielded an error, invalid order number or something. I went to the store to cancel the order and it was a big ordeal. Order was never placed despite them taking my money. It took phone calls to some other Staples company, and many other phone calls to resolve. I spent over an hour on the phone and days to resolve. In short, if it is not in stock where I can touch it, I will not buy.

I live in Lake Mary and have been shopping at this Lake Mary location for over the past 8 yrs. Never have i had any Staples staff being so rude to me as yesterday. I purchase a Turcotte Chair and of course needed some better assistance on few other chairs.I ask for help from a woman who was "supposedly" the store manager (Christine-)She was very rude in her response,I told her i was surprise to know that she was the store manager,her response was its different here.How about customers first?? Thanks to Miss Ashley the cashier who was very nice at check point. I believe people with professionalism and personality like her should be called managers and not the crap you have there,no experience.

So I read these reviews before all this, but its the only staples in the area of my appt today... I used to work for Staples, not this one, but still. I started calling at 7:55a.m. (knowing they dont open till 8), but still trying to get the copy and print email so i can send in four pages i need printed by 8:30a.m. She said that there are some other big orders ahead of me and they cant print my order that fast. I explained to her that I used to work in copy center, and happen to know that it would take less than thirty seconds to print off my papers. But she didnt care. She told me to come in and do it myself (which i dont have time to do). I asked her, "Are you a manager?" She said, "Yes I am." I said, "Is your name Erin?" "Yes it is." "That explains the reviews." Then she said, "There ya go." and hungup.

Worst Staples I have every been too. Manager Erin is the worst employee I have every seen. I tried to send a package using UPS there and the manager,Erin told me she would be right back. She then left to go to another register and wait on customers that came after me. She returned 10 minutes later to wait on me then made me take the receipe to pay for the shipping to another register with a long line. She then waited a few minutes and opened another register and waited and rang up customers that again came after me! I will never shop there again!

I only gave this Staples one star because I had to. The worst experience ever. The manager, Erin, was just awful. We were there on a Friday evening and were told to come back Monday to order the TWO laptops we wanted. When we returned on Monday morning she treated us horribly and would not help us get the two computers from another store like she told us. This store is 2 miles from my house and I will never spend another dime there.

Save your time and energy and just go to office depot (better customer service) which is in the next shopping plaza. Had to go to Staples a few times and in just those few times, something always went wrong. Its understaffed, things dont get done on time as promised, they want you to pay for their mistakes... the list goes on! Good luck with trying to get someone on the phone with the copy and print dept. Will never go back.
