Ive been a frequent customer of Coliseum of Comics, even when they were located in downtown Kissimmee in a small corner shop. Now, however, the quality of customer service has substantially decreased and now the employees are more worried about talking amongst themselves and flirting with frequent female customers not to mention they rip you off for any back issues even if they were released only a month ago. Even for issue #43 of Saga that initially costs only 25 cents, they gouged the price to $4.50 as soon as 44 came out. At Mikes comics or Gods and Monsters, you can find back issues on the shelves for the same price they initially costs. I asked an employee recently to look into a back issue and she looked at me as if it was beneath her. Not only in the Kissimmee location but at their Millenia location as well where four employees were behind the counter and could not even be bothered to say hello or asked if I needed assistance until I was on my way out and had put the comics I was going to purchase back in the shelves. If you want good customer service, just go to Gods and Monsters in Orlando where they have a good selection of comic books and even a bar in case you want to relax and have a brew. By the way, if you do buy something at coliseum of Comics, look at your receipts. If your name is not on it, you get a free stamp on your stamp card. The least they can do for being terrible at their jobs.

If you live in Kissimmee this is realistically the only place to go to within a reasonable distance. Great inventory, prices are typical retail price which for whatever reason means overpriced for people. If youre expecting the crazy discounts from online retailers in a brick and mortar store, of course theres a price discrepancy. However this place is best suited for the bulk of small things youd rather not buy online and pay shipping for such as dice, deck boxes, cardholders, Reaper minis, maps and other accessories. And if for whatever reason youre unable to ship something to your home or you need it quick, they offer a ton of great board games and items for the items typical retail price. If you have shipping available and have patience, by all means order online but dont discount this store. They have some pretty good wares and a large card game event following at this particular location.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. They gauge their prices like crazy! WORST STORE EVER Issues I wanted from 3 different series averaged 1$-1.50$ at the 3 other comic book stores I shopped at. Stopped by this one and they wanted 5$ FOR AN ISSUE I had literally just purchased in same condition from 30 minutes up the street for 1$ They did this for all 3 series I was collecting.! Its insane and ridiculous. They also wanted 50 cents MORE then cover price for current series back issues released in the last year?? WHAT??? Also they had taped together a board game and expansion set (sold separately) and wanted more for it then if you were to buy the two separate. Both locations of this store are an utter rip off. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

I recently bought two sealed comics from this store. I was not told they would be duplicates, and I was told that because they are sealed, they could not take it back, or have me exchange it for a new one. I will NOT be doing business with this company again, and will be taking my business elsewhereMy problem isnt the fact that it was sealed and that I couldnt return it. It was the fact that they didnt bother to tell me beforehand that it was a duplicate, and were very unprofessional about it over the phone. Shame, because this was a good store with friendly employees.

The best comic shop Ive ever been to! This location and the one at Millenia are both great, but Kissimmee is bigger, with a better selection and atmosphere. Huge selection of back issues here, you can get a complete collection of almost any current run to catch up to the latest issue and the employees will gladly help you find anything or make recommendations if youre new / indecisive. Fair prices and a neat stamp card ($10 off every $100 you spend) keeps me coming back.

I stepped into this store knowing diddly-sqwat! So I asked Anthony for some help and guidance in choosing a comic that best suits my taste (super gorey apocalyptic end of the world type ish, plus scify). This guy took me through the isles and referred some great, I mean extremely great comics. I cant say enough about this guy. Im coming for that one comic man... that Dark horse is mine!!!! Lol

Well I have lived in Kissimme Saint Cloud area for 20years now. I have seen this store grow from a small store on 192 to a larger store. Then move to Downtown Kissimmee, they are at there largest location yet. The staffs product knowledge is awesome. Customer service has just gotten better and better over the years. I thank you Coliseum of Comics Kissimmee for welcomeing me into your store.

The store was very nice and cool. The staff was helpful and I enjoyed there selection. I would give it a 5 star but the prices are way to expensive to me. All older spiderman comics were overpriced asking from 40~100 dollars for non key issues. Also they charge a lot extra for variants which is unfortunate. All in all its a great store but overpriced if you collect older comics like I do

Not my local store, but I stopped in to look for some books to catch up while Im away, and the guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful in looking up which issues I needed! He even called the other store in Orlando for me to see if they had it. Theres an overwhelmingly large selection of comics old and new, games, and toys, so youll definitely find what youre looking for here!

The store "manager" is a real jerk, and the staff is hit or miss. If you go in on a good day, or the owner is there then youll get good service, but on a normal day youll get their rude manager. Not to mention if you sign up with a subscription there theyll pull books out for themselves or "better" customers. If you want some middle school quality drama- shop here.

To begin with they need to work on their Customer Service. Threat elders with respect and understand that coming to their store can be excited. however, they are old enough to understand once that you cannot touch their statues even if they speak another language. Although it wasnt necessary the attitude of their cashier toward the elder.

Man! Wish I had the money to buy so many AMAZING things sold here! I like to come sometimes just to appreciate all the art in the sculptures and read a couple of free-to-read comics. You can even buy FULL VOLUMES of any series of comics you can think of! (Civil War, Spidey-Pool, Star Wars, The Simpsons, Flashpoint!) To name a few...
