We wanted to know why the store music is loud and geared to a younger crowd that never shops there. Me and my wife and other family members spend a lot of money here each month and recently wanted to buy something quick and run out the door instead of looking for more things that we need. We looked around the store, average age is 40 to 60 all the time. and the music is for a twenty year old. Is this loud young music for the people who work there or people who spend a lot of money there? Not just our opinion. Is the owner a 20 year old? just wanted to know.

I do not mind paying hight prices for real ORGANIC food. Only about 20% of all products in the store is USDA organic certified. The rest 80% is very questionable in origin, such as "fresh scallops from the can"...and pita bread that stays in the plastic bag fresh forever.... Id like the NS management to be more diligent about picking the products... Some staff is very helpful and friendly, but they know very little about FDA and USDA regulations and can mislead you about the real nature of the product.

I love this store. Very friendly, welcoming vibe. Despite not being super huge in terms of square footage, they really carry a whole heck of a lot of items and great variety! I also really love the staff there - I have been in search of some hard-to-find products on a couple occasions, and their staff never hesitates to get on the phone to check the other store or to even get me pricing for special ordering the product in. You dont find that level of service very often these days!

With the way the economy is the average person can not afford the high cost of everything in this store. If they would find local farmers to buy from I think this would help in bringing the cost down for the average person here in Jacksonville. Might be that now Whole Foods is just down the street this could force them to bring prices down where everyone could afford to stay healthy. As it is now only the rich can afford to stay healthy. Sorry but I am only being truthful.

It was my first time going here. I was going to go to whole foods but they just got terrible reviews and just found this place. I drove about 40 min to get here. But I would definitely make that drive again. I didnt know much about organic foods but they were glad to help me if I ever needed it. Friendly staff and great food for the price. I wish they had one near orange park though.

I shop here often. I am a mom on a tight budget but if you plan right you can feed a family on beautiful organic food. Native Sun is amazing and the staff is so helpful. I love walking in the store and smelling food. When you walk in regular grocery stores you cant smell any food. I like that everything in Native Sun is guaranteed GMO free and there are so many vegan options.

Ive been going here since I moved to Jacksonville a year and a half ago and Im really not sure how anyone would possibly have anything bad to say about this place! Its so awesome and it feels good to boycott whole foods and support small businesses! The staff is amazing and they have a lot of good bogo sales!

This was the first real organic health foods store in Jacksonville. The staff is amazing and their selection is definitely wonderful. There happens to be a whole foods down the road from Native Sun, but I believe this small business will be a lot more helpful for what youre looking to cook up.

I second one of the previous reviews that this location seems to have rude staff members, smart alack teenager responses. Also, telling me to go get the item number because "Thats the Rules" Come on! I would never hear anything like that at another grocery store.

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They carry a wide variety of items at reasonable prices. And with three locations (Beaches, Baymeadows and Mandarin) theyre never too far away. Waaaay better than Whole Foods.
