As a widower I recently created a website search for a unique vehicle catered to my own liking. I owned a 2005 Saturn Relay my wife and I had purchased off the dealers floor in Orlando, Florida. The car was ten years old and had 200,00 (plus) miles on it. Saturn stopped making the Relay in 2007 so that was what my search was about. I soon found a 2007 Saturn Relay at Select Autos, Inc. in Ft. Pierce at an affordable price. I gathered the last funds in my dearly departed wifes insurance money and drove two hours to see the vehicle. Same color as my older Saturn and missing a few amenities I enjoy on my 2005 model, but otherwise a great buy. The 2007 had less than half the miles I had on my well cared for 2005. I am a big believer in "preventative maintenance" I was taught in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. I immediately had the 2007 Saturn automatic transmission serviced, oil changed, tires balanced and rotated, etc., etc. Two months into the new ownership I experienced a vibration when the engine was in idle mode. An examination proved I needed to have the motor mounts replaced. John the mechanic set up an appointment with me and fixed the problem. Car was running great until I noticed a popping in the steering column whenever I would turn it slightly. A local mechanic drove the vehicle and told me I needed to replace the steering rack and pinion system at a cost of $618.32. I contacted Select Autos and spoke with them about this issue. We set a date to have these issues looked at and meet with the owner. I am glad to say that Select Autos honored their 50/50 warranty and addressed all the issues I had with my used vehicle. Would I travel back to them for another vehicle...... YES! Would I recommend other people to purchase from them..... Most Definitely! 1. Disrespect 2. Disservice 3. Incompetence 4. Rude Behavior If you enjoy those "qualities" of a car lot, then go visit John at Select Autos. I basically arrived with a bag of CASH to buy a car on his lot yesterday. He totally ignored my wife and I, like he was pooh-poohing the notion we were there to actually buy a car. He was rude, unwilling to help us (or even talk to us) and he was unable to provide a SIMPLE car fax report on the vehicle we were there to PURCHASE. What a complete circus of an operation he is running. My advice is dont give your business to people like that. I have bought 4 vehicles over the years from John. He has always given us his personal attention . He has never been rude or showed any disrespect. I have been happy with all the vehicles I purchased. Am driving 2 of them now. So I disagree with you guys who think you have had a bad experience with Select Autos. I got a car from them that I truly loved. Paid on it every month. The last two months I lost my job and I missed ONE payment and they repossessed the car. And then jacked up the price to get it back by double. After paying faithfully for a year I missed ONE payment and got repo. Not happy at all,

My old 1995 work truck bike down not far from select auto,as I walked past I saw a nice clean Silverado.i did not even have 1/2 the down payment,so he bought my old broken down truck! And I drove home in a 2008 Silverado! Year and a half later no problems.thanks John!!!
