I left my wallet at the checkout counter at about 8:00 A.M. and didnt realize it until noon. I rushed back to see if anyone had found it, but Customer Service told me there was nothing in the lost and found. Then the lady asked me if I had been wearing the same clothes, and when I said yes, she went to check the video camera. To my surprise, the video showed that the 3rd person through that same cashier had alerted the checkout person that someone had left a wallet. And there it was... NOT in the lost and found basket, but in another area. I wondered why TWO separate areas were needed for lost and found items, but I was so grateful for the Customer Service ladys excellent help, I could have walked on air! I sorry I didnt get her name, because she deserves some recognition! This is not the closest Publix to where I live, but I will certainly be using it again!

Its a shame how the attitude of the employees can make or break your entire experience of a business. This Publix would be great if the staff would lose their attitudes, specifically the people at the customer service counter. If you dont like dealing with people, why are you in this position? The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the convenience of the liquor store and the location of the store. Otherwise, I would rather drive past this Publix to go to another. I.e. I brought back a pastry today that had a hair baked into it. The lady at the counter reluctantly said, "ok, Ill give you your money back." No "sorry," no "I will get my manager for you," no "we will make sure this doesnt happen again," NOTHING. Just handed me the money and robotically said, "have a nice day" as if she was reading a script.

DO NOT ORDER SUBS ONLINE - Third time is a charm. Whoever prepares the sandwich is not able to follow simple instructions or has never made a sandwich before. If you are even remotely interested in getting what you pay for - CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Yes...stand in the chaos of the downtown Fort Lauderdale "lunch rush" at the counter, unwrap the sandwich from the bag and then have your sandwich remade - it WILL need to be remade. You wanted a cold sandwich? HOT. You want Xtra Lettuce - NOT. You want olives on 1/2 and jalapenos on the other 1/2 - Grab some tums on the way out. This isnt a 1 time occurrence.... the girls at my job have ruled Publix out of our options to choose from, which is unfortunate, cause their subs are my fav. =( (I wish I could post the pics I took so you could see for yourself)

For the most part this Publix is ok , other than the deli meat counter is extremely slow, there absolutely no sense of quick service, most not all but most of the people behind that counter slowly move around and make you feel like your there to make more work for them , like your a bother . And the people bagging your food, i purposely put uncooked meat on the belt far away from lunch meat and vegtables and fruit so they have little chance of making it into the same bag . Yet even after asking the boy not to put anything in the same bag as uncooked meat when i get to my car i find the lunch meat in the same bag as the uncooked meat , you know , no job in that store is that difficult, maybe its just south florida i dont know but it never gets better !

I have shopped @ Publix Las Olas since the bricks went up. MS Mullery mgr. Every worker there is professional and friendly. Ms Mullery gets along so well within the store, unless you were aware she was management one would take her for another employee. The Customer Service experience there has no equal, I am 74. They go out of their way to assure the items I want are there or on order. I have never met an unpleasant worker at that store. The person who complained of employees having a chip on their shoulder is entitled to their opinion this is America. My personal experience at the store is a very pleasant one and, I am there at least twice every week sometimes more.

Publix is the best supermarket around. I have traveled extensively and have been in all the major supermarket chains and hands down, Publix is the friendliest, cleanest, and the BEST bakery around. One of the best things about the chain is that you cannot go to a bad one. They are all the same. Kudos to Publix! I have been a customer since I began shopping on my own and will continue shopping there. If this is your first time shopping at a Publix or if you have never tried their bread or the cannoli DONT leave without trying them.

Today was unusual. I found what I wanted except Morning Star original Prime burgers. Checking out was fine but the bag boy needs a bagging class. I have my insulated bags and some not insulated. He did not put frozen items in the insulated bags. I cant watch it all. Im old and expect a lot. I have been shopping Publix for 40 years yes, before the 6th St building was built. Why were the boys moving an item to the front of the case when there is nothing behind? Only empty stock shelves or lazy workers.

One of the absolute best Publix stores that Ive ever visited. You can rest assured that this location will be clean and well-stocked with plenty of space to move around in. A lot of covered parking and an escalator make the store unique and a fun to visit. I lived in FTL for years and if youre looking for the go-to Publix, you should travel to this one: youll be coming back after you see that many of the others around Broward county often lack some of the products youd expect or hope to find.

This publix and all others too as well has the most awesome, wonderful, outstanding customer service in world. I dont see how some people can shop @ Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has the worst customer service. I stopped shopping @ Wal-Mart a month ago; I wished I had been stopped years ago. This publix is very neat and clean. Most professional store experience I had in my life time. I very much highly recommend everyone should shop @ publix. You wont regret it @ all.

Fruit selection was pretty lacking for such a high end publix. Hot food case had lines all over and people got helped at random. No potato wedges at peak lunch time so i picked up an 8 piece fried chicken and half.the batter had fallen off some pieces before it got boxed. Elevator cert is 7 years expired (july something of 2011) i was concerned after boarding with all the noise it made Not bad...no good just okay as the rating says

What a pity is to find out that the general manager ,Joan, is not going to be there anymore .She had been there for many many years and she did a marvelous great job. We are going to miss her ,thank you Joan. Want to take this opportunity to congratulate Lorraine and Althea .theyre great people in there. They know what theyre doing and to wish the new manager good luck. He looks like a very nice guy
