If you ever watched the CNBC special about wallmart and how they became so big well things have changed in the past few years, Everything that walmart stood for which i was not a big fan about when it came to paying a fare wage to it employees but about how they run the stores and have quality products no longer is the norm. This store has many flaws, first i noticed very unhappy employees working there. from the electronics department to the deli. on my visit i have encountered very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Most notably the knowledge of what they sell and where i can find anything i asked for. Two-this store seems to have a problem keeping the shelves stocked, if you saw the show you will recall that an empty space is a space that looses money. always keep it stocked. i noticed this problem regardless of the time of day. three- and i dont want to sound raciest here and i am Hispanic but i noticed that they hire more Latinos who speak very little English or non at all. Now the issue here is not the race but the fact that they hire people who can not even communicate with the shoppers. THIS IS BAD! Four- dont shot at this store anytime after 8 p.m. the stock crew is flying threw the store with the carts and pallets so fast with no regard to the customers still in the store, this is a lawsuit waiting to happen, if it did not happen already. There is a clothing store that has a saying "An educated consumer is our best customer" well if that educated consume shops at Walmart this will realize that the deals here are like the deals you would get on Milk or bathroom tissue from Walgreens, they are just store buster deals so when you buy one item on sail the other is over priced, and in some cases its based on the cost per oz. this makes a big difference. They may have some items that are less then Publix or Win Dixi but most of the products they have are either the same or higher. I will follow up with examples between two major stores.

I am a former employee and I have realized this particular store is just a stepping stone to promotion. The store has so many issues that management is transferred in to resolve the problems for 2-3 months and once they are recognized that they can make a difference in such a short time they are promoted to another store higher than the position they were brought in on. Secondly, sales associates are held accountable for management responsibilities and are "coached" when their supervisors expect you to complete tasks that are given to you one hour before your shift ends. So when you stay over your work shift to complete your managers responsibilities, you are again warned and most likely "coached" for your overtime and told to take a long lunch period so as to get rid of your overtime hours. This particular store has a way of punishing good hard working employees and keeping unproductive employees. This is the reason why such horrible customer service is prevalent in this establishment. There has been several store manager changes in the year and a half Ive worked there I dont even know the last name of the recent manager that came in. I truly believe some of the management are their for self gain and could care less who they step on to get to where they want to be. And I hate to pull the "racist" card out but there is obvious" looking out for their own kind "I had a horrible impression of Wal-Mart as a whole, but learned quickly it is only at this store in Davie that ruined it for me,btw they basically railroad you from working at any other store...smh,Whole Foods here I come!!!

The only good thing going for this location is that you find what you need but other than that thier customer service is terrible. We waited for someone to assist us with paint colors for like 15 minutes. 4 associates passed by and didnt even bother asking if we needed anything. They ignored us and kept walking. I called the store and waited about 3 minutes for someone to answer. I was told they would call someone to help us. Another 10 minutes passed and one employee was kind enough to actually call someone over the intercom. Waited another 15 minutes and then decided to go down the street and spend the extra money at home Depot. The cashier that rang me up my items didnt even look up at me. When I said hello and asked how she was doing, she completely ignored me. Then I said "good evening" and she just said hi in a low tone with an attitude. As I was grabbing my stuff to leave I said Thank you and for her to have a great evening, I recieved no response back and to top it off, I had put my hand out for her to hand me a small bag that was left and she threw it into a plastic bin I was holding. Definitely will make the drive to another Walmart cause I sure will not be returning to this location.

Tonight I experienced the worst customer service I have ever received at this store or at Walmart in general. And it came from the "Customer service manager" Brianna working tonight. I have never had any issues with Walmart and shop there often, but after tonight I will not be going back. There was a simple issue that occurred at the check out so one of the cashiers went to go get her to see what could be done. Big mistake. Brianna already had an attitude when she approached us and then when I tried to explain the situation, she immediately tells me, in the nastiest tone, that this isnt her problem. Brianna was being very arrogant and was quick to dismiss me. She was not helpful at all. They only help I received was from the cashier that was ringing up my stuff. Brianna, of all their employees, should not be a customer service manager. She clearly knows nothing about it. And if she treated me like garbage over a simple issue, I cant imagine how she would handle something bigger.

walmart this close to my house great !!! wrong shopped 20 minutes spent 1 hour and 10 minutes inline to pay how can any store that sells meat and seafood have only 4 registers open and wait over a hour inline the food is already unsafe and in the danger zone by the time you leave..especially with the crappy ac they had the health department should look into that then inline a worker almost knocks my wife over rushing out the door to go on his break no excuse me nothing .. i handed the meat in my cart to the guy on the register and said i dont want it its unsafe at this point he put it with a pile of stuff to go right back and be resold to another customer who will spend over a hour inline ... if i do need anything from walmart ill drive the 6 miles to the other store I do plan on visiting this 1 again though its very close and i would like to video record what happens inside and put on you tube .

I know nobody cares about these reviews. With that said, this Walmart is not like any other. It is extremely time consuming and difficult to do anything here. I find myself having to go to other Walmarts way more often than I should considering how close this one is to where I live. Its pretty much useless for me. I have a business checking account that allows me to make deposits at any Walmart register in the country. Except this one. Even though they CAN take the deposit at a register, they choose not to. Forcing me to drive to another Walmart, where I make the deposit effortlessly at any register. This store tells you that you have to go to "customer service" (where there are always 40 people waiting) which is Not True!! They can do it, they instead choose to make it more difficult for you. Also, they close at 11pm (what is wrong with this economy??). This is Walmart in name only.
