I was so excited to experience Cracker Barrel! We are in town for a conference, I figured it was a great time to give it a try! The place is very crowded! So many people wanting to eat here. I thought that would be a good indication that I was about to have some great food! Nope. Ill get to that later. First, the wait wasnt so bad, for a party of two. 25 minutes. They were pretty much right on the time. I did enjoy sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair while I waited! When our name was called to be seated, we had to wait for the table to be cleared. That wasnt such a big deal, until I watched the busser wipe the chair seats with the same wash cloth as he wiped our table with. Maybe thats a southern thing? I dont know. Id rather sit on a dirty chair than have someones dirty chair matter on the table I am about to have my food put on. When our food finally arrived, I realized that I picked the wrong place. Our food was cold, flavor was, meh, probably would have tasted better if it were hot. I gave 2 stars (instead of 1) because I feel like the customers are part of the problem. If there werent so many people willing to wait for 25-45 minutes to be seated for mediocre food, the place wouldnt look so attractive. Raise your standards, people!

Order was wrong, waitress wasnt very friendly, the other staff was more friendly, the lady who served our food fixed the order and went to tell the waitress our daughter wanted to order something and the lady came back and said she would just place the order for us (as she went to tell our waitress the waitresses head shot up she was shaking her head and rolled her eyes, yep I was shocked and lost all respect for her at that point) my daughter orders food was quick to arrive then 5 min after getting our daughters food the waitress came to our table with a bowl of macaroni and cheese...... we never gave our original waitress an order she just ordered macaroni and cheese without even coming over to the table from what the lady who served our food must of said to her. Well my daughter did order macaroni and cheese but also French fries... how do you just place a order you verbally werent given by the customer?! Yeah wasnt thrilled.....

We were seated very quickly and the food was good. That was about the best part of our experience. A coffee cup the waitress gave us had lipstick on it and a glass of water had pink gunk inside the cup. We had to constantly remind our waitress to bring us something because she would always forget. A different waitress brought our food and just tossed the plates wherever and didnt pay attention to who was getting whos food. She has gave us grits that had obviously spilled and ended up getting grits all over the table. It took about ten minutes after initially getting some of our food to get our complete order. We talked to a manager who basically said sorry but didnt actually do anything to resolve the situation. Most of the workers seemed to have a chip on their shoulder and were quite rude. I dont recommend this place to anyone.

I was Greeted and sat and took a while to order As a Server with 30 years in the business i underatand with wanting to rushing to take the order she was very nice once i order she gave me my salad and the salad had no onions on it that i asked for as welll as i asked for more greens because it didnt have enough on it and she gave me SUCH ATTUIDE I had to ask another Server for Jam for my Biscuits. Then my hashbrown casserole was cold and she replaced it however she must not have put my food on the Warmer because everything else was cold , i let it go but came home and felt like i should have given her a 30%tip on 10.00 but maybe Ally should remember that the guest always comes first with a smile and yes sir no problem... Signed i hope she enjoys her tip because Ill be thinking twice about Cracker Barrel next time ......

Worst Cracker Barrel ever. We were celebrating an 86th birthday. Asked my friend what she wanted to eat and she said chicken and dumplings from Cracker Barrel. After ordering our partys dinners and waiting 20 minutes the waitress came out and said they were out of chicken and dumplings. Two of our party had to change their orders. Ten minutes later our food came out and three of the orders were wrong. Took them back and finally brought the right stuff. Manager said they were making more and theyd be ready in about 15 minutes. We said we needed an order to go for her to have for dinner. After eating and waiting 15 more minutes, we were told no chicken and dumplings. She was very disappointed and I am just plain mad.

Our waitress Kellie was wonderful!! Id give her a 5 star alone...But my fried chicken and gravy was Not! My chicken had obviously been sitting out all day, if not for days. I was told by a manager who rolled His eyes at my while I was explaining to him that my chicken was too crunchy to be fresh and not to mention the skin told it all. When you cook everyday for a family of 5 of just know when the food is cooked fresh. So they brought me another one and it was the exact same way.....not cooked fresh! But my husbands meal, the campfire chicken was good he said. My number one restaurant has always been Cracker Barrel and it will continue to be, but I will not be visiting this one again.

Was on our way back to Fort Myers from Orlando. Did not take long to get seated got our drinks ordered our food. There were 2 salads ordered which did not come out at the time our food came out. Had to go and find a waitress to address the fact that 2 meals were cold and that the salads were not delivered and a vegetable for one of the meals. Food was brought back out the salads were brought out. Manager came to table to talk but offered no discount or maybe even a free desert. Service was not great nor the food. Been at different Cracker Barrels several times and it has always been good and the food was always hot. I will not be back at this one if traveling in this area again

Wonderful, but terribly crowded, on our Sunday afternoon visit. Im supposing it was mostly an after church crowd, and the wait to be seated was only about twenty five minutes. The food was good, my country fried steak a passable medium well, though Id like it a bit less done, it wasnt charcoal, as many country fried steaks are. The waitstaff was a skeleton crew, and ran off their feet, forgot a side of ranch we ordered, and only refilled our water once, but they were doing their best. We had a gift card that had been given us, but would likely go again, and spend our own money, were Cracker Barrel fans.

Im a truck driver and I traveled to many different eating locations. I try to learn about eating different food styles, I had the breakfast menu and kinda customized MY order. I tried the cheese hashbrowns, not what I expected cuz it was like eating macaroni. Maybe IF you prepare it as crispy hashbrowns and add the cheese on top it would give it the look and make a difference. Also the toast doesnt have butter on it, but the butter provided is Hard Cold it doesnt help when Im trying to get the butter on it. The service is awesome and friendly staff. Nice place to go to, Im from San Diego California.
