Do not hire these guys – Coral Springs Appliance Repair – Joe Zelin and his assistant! I usually do not post negative reviews, but I feel I need to warn the public to stay away and not make the same mistake I did. My fridge was acting up and the temperature was fluctuating in the freezer and the refrigerator. I called these guys so-called ‘repair men’ and they replaced the defrost timer, which I paid $140.00 for. They spent 30 minutes doing that and assured me that by the next day my fridge should be running just fine. The next morning the fridge was working fine, but the next day when I woke up, I realized that the fridge didnt work at all and, of course, I loaded it up with groceries thinking it was good to go. Big mistake, I called these guys at least 15 times… no answer and no reply to my messages. I would think that they would at the very least be able to let me know when they can come back to fix things properly. I also want to mention that they were rude and unprofessional. I filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and will do everything I can to get my money back and have this ‘business’ taken care of. It is very unfair to me and to other people to be treated like that. If you need your fridge fixed STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!

DO NOT HIRE!! We called Joe Zelin to fix our dryer. My first impression was a good one as he came to our house within one hour, diagnosed the problem and said he could fix it that same day. I was very hesitant to pay $250 to fix our dryer as it only cost around $400, however, having 3 teenage sons and needing to do laundry I didnt think we could wait to have a new one delivered. Joe reassured me that he would fix the problem and back it up with a one year warranty. Joe left and said he would come back that same day to finish the job as he did not have the part he needed. Not only did he not come back that day or any of the 6 days following to complete the job, he never picked up our calls UNLESS we called from a new number. Our check was (of course) cashed the same day we gave it to him. He promised to email us a receipt of work with a one year warranty which we have not yet seen. We will be filing a complaint with the state agency to go against his license if he even has one. BEWARE he is only out to pretend to fix your appliances and then steal your money.

Howdy, I recently had the pleasure of meeting this small business owner to use his services, I must say this guy is on top of everything! He knew exactly what was wrong with my refrigerator within 5 minutes of being in my humble abode. I highly recommend this service to anybody with appliance problems. Although I was not asked to write a review I took it upon myself to do whatever I could in order to help this professional succeed in todays market. After being ripped off by two other companies I was so glad I found South Florida Appliance Repair to fix my SubZero brand refrigerator, this unit cost me $8,500.00 new not including the built in installation in my beautiful five bedroom house in Eagle Trace. To say the least I was not looking forward to having to buy a new one, hoping it was the same dimensions. Anyways, this company had me back to doing what I love, cooking, in no time. Thanks Joe!

Wish I could give a zero except that he (Joe) came out to fix the fridge within 2 hours of calling him yesterday (10/11). He insisted on payment through square before leaving premises and threatened the tenant that he would take the part out if not. Im the property manager and could not be at the location. I asked him to send invoice because I was in meetings but he said he could not do that without processing the payment. Anyway, wanted tenants to be happy so got out of meeting and gave him CC info for square processing. The tenant informed me next morning (10/12) that the fridge/freezer was still not cooling. We left messages, emails for Joe all day with no response . I called my CC company in the evening to place hold on payment. I plan to report him to BBB and the local business council. Lets see what happens!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!! I had an appointment today to fix my appliance at 10 am. I sat around until noon waiting for this guy to show up. I tried to call him but of course no answer. Left him my name and number to have him call me back at noon. Here it is 2 pm and no call. Not only did he not have the courtesy or balls to call and cancel but me being in the military, had to take a leave day just to wait for this douche. Save yourself some time and money by listening to my warning as well as to the rest of these negative reviews!!!

Called for washer repair. Totally ripped off. Given guarantee of service on all work for one year. Repair failed on first day. Tried to call over 300 times. They would not answer or call back. Paid $165.00 and washer was not repaired. Joe Zelin and Adam was his assistant. The address given does not exist. They work out of their vehicle. Web site is a sham. Do not use this company. Attraction is $19.95 service call, but cost is much more when service is not backed up. Illegitimate scam.

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! Seemed like a standup guy until I researched his estimate.. $300 to remove/re-sweat a $10 copper refrigerant filter drier, purge the R12 refrigerant and re-charge with MAYBE $40 of R134A refrigerant?? I even paid him $50 for his service call, when I could have paid $30 less with a much larger company. Job should have been $200 tops had I chose to do the repair! Silly me supporting small businesses, thx Lowes..

My washer just needed to change the washer door boot, but my first impression was right about this guy Joe Zelin, he doesnt know anything about my washer, he just tried to fix it. when my wife used the washer stared to make noises then my wife called him but he said it that this is a Different problem, he did not come back to check it, I lost $253.44 and now Im looking for a company to fix Joe Zelin damage, please dont call him.

I called Joe around 6pm on a weekday to ask if he could repair my refrigerator. Just my description was enough for him to determine what the issue was and an estimate for repair. He then gave me an honest estimate of arriving to my house around 9:15pm and made it on time. He completed the repair and even gave a detailed description of problem he just fixed and was done by 9:45pm! Excellent service, great price; highly recommended!

Amazing service, on time, prompt response every other company wanted two weeks of a schedule they were there the same day. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends and family that are interested in appliance repair.
