As a native born Floridian who grew up going grocery shopping at publix I can honestly say that this is the single most disgusting publix I have ever stepped foot in. And Im not just talking about the cleanliness of the store, Im talking about the actual quality of products most notably in their produce and meat departments. On multiple occasions I have picked out a variety of produce such as asparagus or sweet potatoes to find WEEKS worth of mold growing on them. Its obvious that these products are being repackaged and redated just to keep them on the shelves longer. The produce manager claims that this is company policy but when you are putting quality of product and safety of the consumers health at risk policy goes out the window, its repulsive. And same goes for the meat department. Itd be a miracle to find a package of meat that didnt go bad 24-48 hours after the purchase date, just goes to show that this publix has no issue reselling its leftovers. Its also not required for any of their butchers to wash their hands before handling any of your meat or to even wear gloves. So if any of them come off a bathroom break or cigarette break whatever they last touched is going into your meat. Again not only is that unsafe and unhygienic its just plain disgusting. I will say most of their stocking and checkout staff are very helpful but honestly I cannot wait for the new publix on new independence to open up so I never have to step foot in this pigsty of a publix ever again.

Manager Ms. Rhea told her cashier to put my order aside and let others go ahead of me while a price check was being done I got upset for having to wait on someone else behind me with lots of items in fastlane line. This price check because of their scammy discount advertisements are misleading. Only after threatening to post this on Google did she say she will take me out at a different register which I dumped all my stuff out of the bag and left. Normally would not be such a big thing but I didnt like the way they didnt ask me and the person behind me had a lot of stuff I had to wait on even though I was in the fast lane so they lost $50 worth of business from me that is going to their competitor down the street

Beware. This store is going to make someone sick. We are on vacation and stopped in to pick up some groceries which includes bacon. They had just restocked and every package i picked up was Hot. Like changing colors, definitely going to make you sick hot. I thought there are temperature requirements to prevent this? I told the store manager and to my shock he just said thanks for you input and walked off. Didnt stop people from buying the bacon, didnt talk to the guy stocking... nothing. I am now on my way to Walmart :( to but my groceries.

I stayed near this supermarket for the month of September 07 and i shopped here on a regular basis, i found the staff to be very helpful and everything laid out perfectly, the garage beside it offers excellent deals on pizzas etc and their petrol (gas) prices are the cheapest I have found.

Really nice staff who treated my little two year old like a prince. Well stocked with a good selection of everything youd expect at a Publix store at fairly reasonable prices. Very handy if staying at Summer Bay resort. Will visit again on my next holiday there.

Not so great what has happened to this store. Bad attitude at the deli. Bought some shrimp had them steamed and when I got home the house still smells of rotten shrimp. Bought some fruit IT WAS SOUR TOO. Heading back to get a refund...what in the world??/

I love Publix. I hit the bakery and sandwich shop in it every time I come to Florida. The experience is well consistent no matter which one I stop. Ive never had an unpleasant experience and this one held up the same standard.

This Publix has a very poor selection compared to other nearby Publix, and is often "out" of many items. I recommend either the Berry Town Center or the Orange Lake Town Center stores instead. They both seem to be better run.

This is a great store. The employees are helpful and professional. The deli is always fresh as well as the produce. I have shopped here for several years and have always found it to be a pleasure to shop here.

This is a huge Publix, and the fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Its also really clean and well maintained. Although the prices are kind of high even with the BOGO deals.
