This place is convenient to local Resorts. I stayed at the Liki Tiki resort which is just 2 minutes down the street from this place. Right across the street is a Publix and a small shopping center with a GNC. The market has several things that a Latin grocery store should. I went for the corn husks to make tamales and found myself getting a few other small items. Everything was good with the exception of a few things. There were a few bugs flying around but I think thats hard to deal with when you have doors that are opening all the time. One of the other downsides was they did not seem to have fresh fish or turkey. I was looking to make turkey tamales and could not find it. It was all good though because I went across the street to Publix to find the remaining parts of the recipe. Prices are good and people seem to be nice.

Los precios han subido tanto que ya no se puede comprar en esta tienda amenos que sea algo que se necesite rapido. Mejor vieje a Kissimmee donde hay muchas opciones con precios competitivos y no como en esta tienda donde todo lo venden al doble de los precios de Kissimmee Meat and Produce. Por ejemplo, $1.79 por cada pimiento y $.79 la libra de guineos verdes.

Place is pretty good. Clean and accesible. Lot of variety to choose from different countries. You dont need to be hispanic to buy in La Isla. Bastante bueno, es limpio, accesible y hay una gran variedad de productos de diferentes paises. No necesitas ser hispano para comprar en La Isla Supermarket.

Fantastic meats at great prices, and the butchers will custom cut, but bring a friend whos bilingual for this, as the butchers most definitely arent. They also serve a working mans takeaway lunch that is both delicious and a great value. Rice (white, yellow, OR brown) beans (black or pink) and pick your meat (excellent quality AND flavor), and too much of each to believe, plus a bottle of water for $4.99. Awesome place

I like this place. Its a nice smaller grocery store, easy to get in and out of. Prices are often BETTER than the big box stores. They have good produce and meats. Im not Hispanic, so I have to brush up on my Spanish every time I go. People are friendly, and one gentleman even offered to carry my bags out to the car for me. Salsa music playing while shopping makes me happy!

Best kept secret in the area. The meat and some of the prices here are unbeatable. The ground beef is the best Ive had. Im not hispanic and I dont speak spanish and I have never had an issue. Parking is a bit limited at busy times and some of the spaces are 30 minute, but Im usually in and out in 5. Cant do that at Wal-mart.

Kinda Expensive catering. Wasnt done on time for the party though. I wanted it done by 1pm and we ended up picking up around 1:45 and it still wasnt ready. $101.00 for late food and 3 items. Plus we had to wait in line even though I had already pre-ordered, and paid.

Pleasant surprise. Fresh vegetables and baked bread, Full dervice butcher and everything you need to fill agrocery basket without having to fight the tourists at Publix. Smells delicious in there because they have a hot food bar that usually has a line out the door.

The food isnt as fresh as other supermarkets in the area. The prices and people are nice but you really have to dig through for good produce and meat. The floors always need a little upkeep as well as the conveyer belts in which you put your food on when you pay.

Ordered a sandwich and they gave me a burnt one. I also ordered coffee with milk and all I got was a water down black coffee. Staff always look like they hate life and this is the last time Im going to visit this place.

They specialize in selling Spanish food which is rare in the area but the aisles are cramped and the cooked food is just ok. Meats arent always very fresh. Staff looks like they hate life and speak little to no English
