The store is over all OK. (*Please read all*) Also they are awesome if your looking to find rare, hard to find, speciality items and even bulk goods. Its also offered at a very fare price overall. Even with the type of customers that they seem to attract, they still seem to keep the store pretty organized and clean to a degree. The issue is that the service desk, especially when calling them for questions or help over the phone, the female worker that mainly answers is very short with you, acts bothered, is very abrupt, and makes you feel stupid and also like your bothering them. (THAT TREATMENT ALONE WOULD HAVE MADE MOST PEOPLE GIVE THEM A ONE STAR RATING & EVEN A VERY RUDE BASHING REVIEW, BUT IM GIVING THEM SOME SLACK) I hate to say all this cause overall, the store is ok especially due to the poor, rough location that surrounds the store in this particular area of Bradenton. They even have a fully armed security guard there! Thats great, but even he seems like hes about to snap at anything that might be the least out of place. Lastly, if you look at my history, this is the first time Ive ever wrote a review that is even a little bit negative, but since Ive been doing (and going to be doing a lot more business) a lot of business at the Metro PCS dealer thats located inside the store, I feel its my duty and my right to post my feelings after all that Im doing there and also all the new customers that Ive recommenced to go to this location. Mainly the Metro girl is great and thats what keeps me happy, but also I love the store shopping also. I just hope they fix things some because its my word (reputation, referral) when I recommend this location for both business services there and I end up getting a report back that makes me look like Im crazy because their experience was not very nice. I hated to leave this and its my first, but Im going to give them a better updated rating after a few more visits over the next few weeks if things seem to have be just a one off (actually a 3 or 4 off event that was not so nice) poor experience from my many previous visits and calls. So, give them both a try, it might just have been a bad couple of months for the grocery store part. Cause Metro pcs was great. Plus for many years prior the store was great. Its just over the past few months things seem to have changed some in the overall atmosphere there. God Bless them all though.

WOW. I called the store to find another location near my area in Venice/Port Charlotte. I see theres a Fort Myers store location, but from what I saw online, the store is currently closed for good. The store associate didnt know of any other stores in the area (except in Tampa) and when I asked about getting the phone number to the Fort Myers store, she told me she didnt have it. Then she put me on hold. I spoke to a "manager" named Tony, who told me "and who are you? I cannot give you any information". I just wanted to call the main offices to ask them where the local Bravo stores in my area are. He was abrupt, rude, and told me he could not give me any information or phone numbers. He didnt even know where the corporate headquarters were located at (or he refused to tell me) and he kept interrupting me. Ugh. My abuelita is in town from Puerto Rico and all we want to know is if theres another Bravo location "open" in the Fort Myers area, or anywhere south of Bradenton. Thats all. He told me to call Monday morning to talk the "main manager". Is this how they treat their valued customers? Increible! Shame on your, Bravo! Learn to treat your customers a little better!!!

ATTN: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT My family have been to this store several times. Ive brought my family their to shop, friends their to shop etc. And everytime I notice we were being followed by the security office their. Every single time!! Today 07/07/17 we went there again and notice their he was again after every aisle we went down so I asked the cashier why was he doing that and told the manger and he walked off So I approached the manger and explained that we liked shopping there but the security office constantly followed us around I felt like he was racial profiling us. And he said THAT HIS JOB! I said to what follow black people around?? he said every 40 mins I said wow so if Im going to shop here Im gonna get followed around because Im black? He said bye therefore I want to let the black community know that our hard EARNED money(not food stamps) is not wanted at BRAVO! I wouldnt give this store the one star I had to click on to write the review!

This used to be only market I shopped in, as I lived in the Carribean many years. After they brought in some big merchandising company to reorganize and "Americanize" the products and the space, I hardly ever go there now. They got rid of most of the unusual items you could depend on, jacked up the prices, such as shallots from the DR and Haiti where you got a small bag for $3-4, now its like Publix with 3 shallots in a cello wrap for $2.95! Almost all their herbs are exorbitantly priced for just a few twigs now. Although their meat and poultry is fair priced, I dont think they even cut or package it anymore except special orders... They buy it that way, where much of it used to be local. It used to be a special place to shop for a fair price, now its just about the $.

I went shopping there today.Yes I may be white but that has nothing to do with it.I was treated terrible.I bought a big pack of hamburger meat and a small one I have been in cooking 15 years with a certification. The big one smelled fine but the small was really bad.You can smell it on my hand. The lady says I know meat I cook for my husband and then also tell me I didnt sell it too u that way so I cant take it back. How in the world are u suppose to know something is bad without opening it.Also did u go to school too cook no u cook in the kitchen. So cooking for your husband is a little different the meat was even purple and she said fresh and I said if it was it would t have discoloration. What a joke.Already been too the code enforcement with the meat.

For years I go here. There was a great clean up last year and ever since it looks much better. Best I like the friendly people there. It is more latino market. You get things there which you do not get in other places. Love it. Special meats, capers and olives. Other items like milk are more expensive though. I go there for years and will be back. Surely I write again at one point and see how it goes. bty. Appeal is in the eye of the beholder. I like Spanish markets. Some might not like it .
