I received a Western Union and I was in town and chose this Publix to shop at. It was 3 ladies behind the counter. One was helping me and stopped to answer the phone as the others was not there then walked from behind the counter to assist the caller when I was standing in front of her and she had started my transaction. So I asked the other lady to help which she did not making eye contact or talking to me. She placed my receipt on the counter. Then placed my money on the counter. I asked politely to pick my money and receipt off the counter and place it in my hand ad I had done with my paper. She picked it up and shoved it into my hand. I asked for a manager. The asset manager showed up. I told her what I experienced and she questioned the cashier why my money was placed on the counter. The cashier reply was I always put it on the counter. She slick smiled and said she would handle it but I know she does it all the time with the lies. I will never return.

Im not really one to complain because I work in customer service soi understand some days are better than others when your dealing with public but Ive had my fair share of the rude people I deal with in the deli department and tonight was the final straw for me I reported my dislikes with the manager and I wont be back to shop here unfortunately.. I will drive across the bridge and waste gas before I go here its a shame that people as rude as them have jobs I wait 20 mins for chicken only to get my chicken slammed in my cart wow!! Word of mouth goes a long way and I will share with everybody I can dont go here :( thanks again for your inhospitality

Ive lived in Florida for 11 years, and in that time Ive seen a massive decline in Publix supermarkets as a whole. In particular, this one in Palmetto. If youre going to charge double for common items that can be found anywhere, you better make that difference up in customer service. Im the type of person that will gladly pay more for something to be treated well and with common courtesy. The deli and management at this location needs a complete fresh re-staff, and new employees and managers need to be properly trained. Massive fail Publix, youve lost yet another customer.

Working at Publix has become my second home compared to my first job which was at a franchise fast food joint. I realize that Publix is a very structured foundation when it comes to all customers, and work ethics. When I go to break I can always count on a great Publix Deli sub when craving for one that is. I always get a Publix whole whole wheat turkey with everything on it which is my favorite of all. After all thats said and done I love my store 100% but I just cant wait to explore other stores in my district and if possible other districts as well.

I was trying to get my money order and my cashier was Kim. I had counted the money plenty times before I got there and she counted the money also right infront of me and finished the money order. THEN tells me I was short $50, Even after she had counted the money 3x and finished the money order. She would not even tell me I was short while she was rummaging through things and I didnt even know why, she went to the back and got someone else to tell me I was short $50. Why such actions for $50 when it couldve been counted once more.

I shop here regularly & have never had such awful customer service while checking out. First, there was only 3 checkouts open with a line at each. Second the cashier never even said hello, let alone any other conversation until we paid she did say "your cash back ,thank you" and the bagger never even offered to help us out! NEVER have I been this dissatisfied with any Publix. This is why I dont shop Wal-Mart & hopefully they will correct this

The publix in palmetto is nice. Not as big and fancy as some other ones Ive seen the high-end neighborhoods, but this one is nice and clean with friendly and helpful staff! Only reason Im not giving it more then 3 stars is because they almost always run out of things that are on sale and last time i asked about it, i was told we dont do "rain checks"....so much for THAT sale!

The store is pretty good size but customer service is behind the line completely rude... cant believe one manager yield at my toddler while I was paying and he was pulling the bags . He could always talked to him frendly or call for my attention and they need some trainning for their coupon policy this store is not a pleasure for couponers like others around the county.

I love Publix, I wont shop anywhere else but the Publix in Palmetto continues to fall below the mark. Nothing worse than coming home after buying everything on your list only to find out they forgot to give you a bag. Yes, its partly my fault for not checking but its still happens way to much at this Publix. #frustrated

This used to be an Albertsons but was well transformed into a publix. It is a decent size and usually have everything you typically need. Friendly and helpful staff per usual for a publix supermarket. Has a liquor store attached too which is nice. Its only issue is the parking lot is small and cramped.

The deli is less than be desired. Seems unorganized and they seem more focused on the sandwich making instead of waiting on customers. It take me as much time at the deli waiting as it does to shop the entire store. The deli in Parrish is way better and quicker.

Love the produce. Clean store, well stocked, friendly service. Only negative is parking can be difficult, but not impossible. I can not recall not finding what I needed.

No toilet paper on woman and mens bathroom and the womans sink is broken making you question their food preparation safety

Good experience. Had to wait about 10 minutes at the deli for unbreaded hot wings. Staff was cordial and helpful
