This is my cigar-smoking home away from home, especially in winter when its too cold to smoke outdoors. This is a beautiful new, luxurious store with a great staff led by an intelligent and caring owner, Granville. All a smokers needs and desires are met in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. How many places do you shop where the owner greets you by name? Signature Wisconsin Ave will be one of them. First, their cigar selection is excellent. Wide selection with nary a miss among any Ive tasted. They even carry the rare and wonderful Lou Rodriguez, available in only about a dozen places in the US. Virtually any cigar you buy here will be worth smoking, and some approach or equal Cuban standards. Second, a helpful, caring staff. Granville, his paid staff, and volunteers are caring and knowledgeable. They all seek to determine what you like and provide the best recommendation. Their recommendations have led to some exciting discoveries and great smokes for me. Third, the facility. There is a large humidor and plenty of space for a wide variety of cigars. There is even a modest offering of pipes and pipe tobacco. But its the lounge that shines here - certainly the best in the Washington area: Room to seat perhaps a dozen in great comfort on new, plush furniture; beautiful furnishings (Granville just added two huge gorgeous antique pieces), chairs and couches you wish you had at home, and entertainment - a huge new flat screen tv, with a selection of DVD movies to watch. Theres a large dining room table at the back for those with laptops. Theres free WiFi! And in addition to snacks and drinks available for purchase, they provide FREE small snacks, such as cashews, apples, and pretzels. Attractive art and tobacco-related signs decorate the pretty brick walls. This is a great place to come in, relax, smoke a couple, chat with patrons and staff, watch sports or news events, and kick your shoes off! The owner is genuinely thankful for your patronage, very warm and welcoming, and well grounded in both his product and the Washington business community. The facilities are great - best around. Prices are reasonable. Location is very convenient. What are you waiting for?

The place is decent. Its got basically what you are looking for. I am new in town and have been looking for a cigar lounge to smoke and relax in. I was met with a terrible attitude by the owner. In all fairness, the guy wanted me to smoke cigars from his shop, which is fine and understandable, but the way he came at me was very annoying and for this reason, I will continue searching for another spot. If you like cards and live in the area, you may find what you are looking for here. Personally, if I want to come in and smoke an Opus, it should signal to you the potential money that I may spend at your establishment, however, the owner may have misread the situation and been a little short-sighted on this one. Next time try and relax and make a guy feel welcome before you jump to conclusions.

Its a chain of cigar stores, with a pretty loyal local following. Wide selection of decent cigars, but they dont always have something for the freshman smoker. The folks who work there are very knowledgeable and Ive never disliked a cigar theyve recommended. Ventilation system could use a little work, whenever I visit I tend to smell of cigar smoke.

Try the Opus X cigars. Love this place. Granville and family are the best, and theyve done a great job with an awesome place for the community to come together and enjoy a stogie.
