I was told at the beginning of my visit that I could use a debit card. When I checked out, the lady would not let me use a debit card. There were two "Vera Bradley" purses on sale for $15 each. One was real. One was not, but they were the same price. Tons of emphasis on brand names, but not current style. Basically I was the only person in the shop that was not over 50. Probably 50% of the clothes have shoulder pads. I can deal with that at Sal Val or Goodwill because it is all cheap, but this stuff was still priced like a high-end department store, not a consignment store. I found two great cashmere blend sweaters for $2 a piece (they have a small two dollar rack), but did not buy them because of the debit card situation.

This place is a hidden gem. I have to say that most of what I wear comes from this store. I have been coming here for so many years and they have the best deals in DC and the garments are all in Like new" condition. The store has changed hands in the past year, I like both the previous and current owners and the employees are nice. No one following you around and making you feel uncomfortable. Unlike other stores that I wont mention you can get your garments back if they do not sell. I come here for the deals and service so f you are looking for a spiffy space with sparkling lighting fixtures etc then this is not the place for you.

Not the nicest or friendliest owner/manager. The 2 younger sales ladies were much nicer and are the only reason I stayed to look around. Most of the clothes are for women who like more traditional clothing but there are treasures to be found and many designer names. Good assortment of sizes also. The unfriendly owner/manager must be the same one others have mentioned below in the same negative light. She must not read these reviews or doesnt care. So, if you dont care about service but want to find a treasure then this is a good place to spend 15 minutes.

As a person in the neighborhood, I occasionally consign here, but every time I do, I swear Ill never go back again. The owner is MEAN and RUDE. Theres no apparent rhyme or reason for what they will or wont accept. And last time I dropped off a 3-piece silk Talbots suit (dry cleaned, on a hanger), it was rejected and returned to me balled up in a bag. Everybody I talk to has the same experience there. The selection is totally hit or miss, sometimes theres decent stuff but most of it is questionable.

I really love this place, I have found some amazing pieces here and i also consign with them. Business is robust! The owner is not rude, but people often think so. I think she may have a lil nervous energy and pet peeves like she gets nervous when a line forms and she hates it when the counter gets messy; otherwise she is really cool. The employees are amazing! Super helpful, down to earth and mad nice.

Youll just get insulted. This place is half decent if youre in the neighborhood anyway, you want to push your way through overcrowded racks for slightly over-priced stuff, and dont have high expectations or a particular thing in mind that youre looking for. But otherwise, just donate your old clothing and go somewhere else to buy.

You can never tell how you will be treated on a given day. Some of the clothes are great but some are rather outdated. They are more focused on the brand name then current style. Have not had good interactions with the owner who can be downright rude!

This place is a gem! I stop by whenever I can to see what they have. They carry great brands -- everything from J.Crew to St. John! I got a classic red Burberry dress from here for just $80! Store is clean and employees are just lovely!

Great clothes for those who enjoy the challege of searching for great pieces. Found 2 pair of $2 jeans that are usually priced around $100. Beautiful jewelry collection and great options for shoes.

Good selection of clothes, but poor customer service. Had to wait 30 mins for a changing room because two girls were using the changing room while also looking for clothes throughout the store.

Cute womens clothing store. They have career (business jackets, blouses), dresses, and causal clothes. Perfect for those who like to mix and match their outfits for a unique look.

Stay away from this place! Several of my friends have gone there and the owner is very rude and discriminates you by the way you look and dress. STAY AWAY!

The staff is always professional and easy to work with. Good finds, too! I have been consigning here for over 15 years ... love it!

High end clothing. More of a boutique than a thrift store. Not enough space and the customers were rude.
