If you are broke down in Milford, DE, dont even question it, JUST GO TO KENT SUSSEX AUTO CARE!!! I dont even know where to begin...my fiancé and I were on our way home from OC Maryland after a lovely week by the shore. When we were leaving, our car started acting up. We got about 40 miles from Ocean City and she finally broke down. We opened the hood to see that our serpentine belt had snapped. As it was a Saturday, and about 2pm, we had zero luck finding a garage that day. We ended up being stuck in Milford, Deleware for 3 days, but, by the grace of God, we could not have broken down in a better place. While walking back from WaWa to our hotel, my fiancé, who is incredibly intuitive, stopped on a dime before walking across the street and said wait. He started looking around, and, he saw the sign for Kent Sussex Auto Care. As soon as we were back at the hotel, we googled them to see their reviews and they were amazing, so, we decided Monday morning we would walk over and talk to them. From the moment we stepped in that shop, we were treated with nothing but kindness, compassion, and caring. The entire team there was truly concerned about GETTING US HOME!! Not about the money, which is a a rare find in that business. When I was first talking to Swati, the manager, I started saying how my parents would have to pay the bill over the phone, and as soon as I said payment, she told me dont worry about that, lets worry about getting your car on the road...I was blown away. So, they immediately called a tow truck for us, which they payed for up front, and, inquired as to how we would be getting back from the shop to our car. We said we would walk, it was not a big deal, it was literally under half a mile. But, Swati insisted on driving us over to our car and taking us to our hotel to get our belongings. I waited with the car while my fiancé went to the hotel and gathered our stuff and checked out. The tow truck arrived and what a lovely tow guy!!! He gave me a ride back to the shop, and, got bessy, our cars name lol, there quickly and safely....the lovely folks at Kent Sussex could tell we had been through the ringer the last three days. They did everything in there power to cheer us up and promised they would do everything possible to get us back on the road. It ended up being our serpentine belt had went because our ac compressor locked up the pully, so, they came up with the genius idea of putting a shorter belt on to bypass the ac compressor and it worked!!! When I saw bessy pulling around, back on the road again, I was filled with joy and appreciation. I thanked them for everything they had done for us, and, they simply said we are just doing our job. But, the truth is, they did so much more than that. Their honest care and compassion humbled me. As we settled up the bill, which was ridiculously well priced, including the tow, I said, well, I guess were done, and Swati said no, one more thing...and she gave us both huge hugs!!! They were truly the kindest people we have ever been blessed to meet. From the moment we walked in, they were not worried about making a buck, they were truly concerned with getting us home, and, at a great price!!! They even gave us a full size serpentine belt for free for when we get the compressor fixed!!! I truly feel like they are part of my extended family now. Swati even had me call her to let her know I got home ok...just truly the kindest people I have ever met. God sent angels our way in the form of Kent Sussex auto care!! And, they are amazing shop wise as well!!! I have never been to a more knowledgeable garage!!! In the business of garages, it is extremely difficult to find honest people who arent just out to make a buck. These people pride themselves on hard work, and HONESTY!!! They were so happy to be able to get us home, and that they did!! I will forever be thankful to them and I will never, ever forget the kindness they showed to complete strangers. If I could, I would pick up that shop and bring it to the poconos!!! God bless!!!

Great locally owned and operated auto care center! Have gone to Kent Sussex Auto Care several times. Once for an oil leak that was remedied by simply cleaning the oil pressure sensor and reinstalling on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. During the leak service they discovered my exhaust manifold was cracked in half. They replaced it in short order and at a very fair price. Later took it back for what I thought was another oil leak. The initial diagnosis was that I needed a new oil pan gasket. After discussing it with the owner, Sam, he was certain it was left over oil that was flung into the bell housing from the original leak. He told me to wait for another week and check the oil level daily. If no oil was being lost, no leak is present. He was right! Saved me a bunch of money for a repair that was unneeded. When was the last time an auto mechanic told you nothing is wrong when you were prepared to spend hundreds of dollars?? I also purchased new tires for my 2007 Chevy Silverado 3500 crew cab. They gave me a fantastic deal on the new tires (beat all the local completion and even online prices). Great place, going back this morning for new trailer tires for my RV.

Had work done on car,ft.end alignment..they told me it could not be done.Also had ft.end rebuilt and tires balanced....well after they charged me over $1700.00 I found out there were no weights on one wheel..brought it back to be checked and got nothing but a bad attitude from the woman who owns the business..she did not want to warranty the work...then I went to Blue Hen Spring in Milford and they said some of the parts they put on were loose and the rack boot was never put back on properly.Blue hen spring aligned the car in about an hour..perfect and for half the price.I have many years in the car business as a former service Mgr. At a major dealership...never have I ever seen such a rip off shop in my life...also the new tires on front were ruined because of their crappy work.When I looked up the parts they put on they had marked them up over 1000%...totally dishonest shop....do not ever bring your car here..they also ripped off my daughter on her Honda...said they were an A/C repair shop...they worked on the car and A/C stopped working a week later...they said too bad.....next step better business bureau...these people are total assholes..

I was told by my Ford garage that it would be about $340 to get two new tires, move my back tires to the front, put the new on the back, rotate/balance, of course, and align. I thought Id call around and save some money, and was told by Kent/Sussex it would cost be $326 for all of this. I was glad to save a few bucks, and I made an appointment. I verified the price with the man who took my keys and my car, and they told me to sit and wait. (Incidentally, there was NO heat and I froze in the waiting room!) Within a few minutes, another man (middle-aged man of Indian descent) came out. He told me the price did NOT include an alignment, which I knew I needed. He had the woman who originally quoted me the price get on the phone and tell me I misheard it. They told me it was unlikely I needed an alignment anyways, but like I said, I knew I did. To compensate, they took $5 off the total. Now, Im going to have to take it somewhere else--Ill be DARNED if Ill pay THEM any more!--to get it aligned. Not only did I not save money, but I will have to pay a lot more. I would only recommend them to my worst enemy.
