oso fine
Horrible for prescriptions! I go 20 minutes away to an independent pharmacy to get my prescriptions after years of bad experiences at CVS Wilton. They bought out the independent Wilton Pharmacy over a decade ago, and now they are the only game in town, besides the pharmacy in Stop&Shop, which I will use for my childs prescriptions from now on. Since my child doesnt need medication often, and because the route from the pediatricians office in Westport is no where near the pharmacy I use or on the way home, I usually say "yes," when asked if something should be sent to CVS Wilton. One time I took my child to the doctor first thing in the morning and they prescribed an inhaler - after stopping there on the way home and 2 more visits, they were finally able to give it to me after 5pm. No pills - just a sticker to print out and slap on the box! Last week the doctor called a prescription in and even though I called 2 hours later and was told, "Yes, well make it up now!" (they never seem to make up prescriptions after the doctor sends them - you have to call and tell them to) and went in 2 hours after that, I waited around the store for an hour and a half, only to be told that they needed some code from the doctor and the doctors office was now closed. They promised to call the doctor in the morning. They didnt. If you dont stay on top of them, nothing gets done. If going, be ready to spend a day or more on the project, be ok with bugging your doctors office (which very well may only let you leave messages these days), expect to stand in line in a tiny area with everyone who coughing and sneezing for 15 - 120 minutes, and be prepared to possibly having to go home without your medication. Many of the staff are very friendly, but their system is a mess. Fine for shopping and checking out on the other side of the store. It is always packed in there, despite all of these poor reviews because they essentially have a monopoly in town. Stop&Shop has got to be an improvement - try it and see. If that is no good, there are still some independent pharmacies in Westport, Weston, New Canaan (if it is still there) , and Norwalk, including the one in the lobby gift shop at Norwalk Hospital. Being a hospital, they usually either have what you need or can get it by the next day.

I work at a pediatric office and we work with numerous pharmacies. CVS wilton above all has the worst service. More times than not we have to call in the same script more than once because someone has gone to them and they claim to not have it. When the second call is made, they say oh yeah it is right here. I dont know if there is a lack of communication or pure laziness but they have been horrible to work with my three years of working with them.

This is the worst CVS in the world. I have gotten the wrong amount of medicine SEVERAL times. Apparently counting to 60 is hard. I dont get it. It is always crowded. I would rather die of a disease then go here again.
