WARNING TO ALL - DON’T GO TO JASON MCCORMICK AND GOOD GUYS AUTOHOUSE; CAR WAS RUINED!! Should be ZERO stars if allowed! COMPLAINT against Jason McCormick Good Guys Auto House ,INC. in Southington, CT. Been a happy loyal customer of Good Guys Auto House, INC. in Southington, CT. for over 7 years When picking my car up on a Friday evening after a major +$1,750.00 repair bill. The car was properly repaired - however I noticed a strange substance on the hood of the car. A substance had been smeared on the car’s hood directly on the center of the car’s hood. Over the weekend, I tried to wash the substance off the car, but noted that the substance was eating away the paint off my car’s hood. Took the car to a professional auto body shop to evaluate the damage to the hood. Initially the professional auto body shop wanted to try to buff the substance off, it did not come off and it was determined the substance needed to be tested. After testing the substance, it was determined to be brake fluid smeared on the hood with a rag. The only solution, was to have the hood painted. The brake fluid was eating away the paint and going into the primer on the hood. I called Jason McCormick at Good Guys Auto House and complained that I felt the car’s hood was intentionally ruined with brake fluid. He, mentioned to me to return the car to the shop to be evaluated. I told him I, NO LONGER had faith and trust in his shop, for Good Guys Auto house to keep my car safe and not further ruin my car. To was a disappointing end to 7 years of being a loyal customer. Asked for him to cover the damages to the car. He refused and was rude on the phone and in a phone conversation with me. Further, his Service manager Dean, was rude in a phone conversations with me. A very HOSTILE atmosphere at Good Guys Auto House in Southington, CT. towards me. With this HOSTILE atmosphere, I would never return my car to their shop or allow the car to be looked at by them. I have LOST complete trust in them towards me. In other words : I felt TARGETED by Jason McCormick and Good Auto house and my car had a Bulls Eye on it! I told Jason McCormick I had documentation from a professional Auto Body Shop detailing the damage and the tested substance found smeared on the hood. Furthermore, the professional auto body shop that evaluated the car, mentioned to me to NEVER bring my car back to Jason McCormick Good Guys Auto House, because they were astonished at the damage to the car. Never heard or seen a repair shop, ruining someone’s car for no reason. I have documentation showing the damage to the car’s hood was done, while at their shop.

I needed a reliable Subaru Forester for my wife and 2 daughters but with todays high prices for a new one, it was out of our budget. After several weeks of searching through the tri-state area, we thought that we will never find a used Forester that was in good shape. Then we went to see a 2005 Forester XT at Good Guys Auto House in Southington, CT. We met Dylan and Jason and we automatically felt welcomed to their establishment. Dylan showed us the car and spoke openly in detail about its history. We went for a test drive and took our time questioning Dylan and looking over the car. We came back next week to purchase the car and they did a full mechanical inspection and replaced the battery, rear brake rotors/pads and a full timing belt / water pump kit!. To top it off, they also detailed the car (polish and wax). It felt like we were picking up a new car! this is the first time I purchase a used car that did not need anything - nada - nilch - zero! it even had a full tank of gas! In total and to put it in simplest terms, Dylan and Jason not only live up to the Good Guys name. We believe they surpassed it! two weeks have passed by and we could not be happier with our car.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOOD GUYS AUTO HOUSE. I have known Jason for over 9 years and Good Guys is the perfect name for his business because he really is a good guy. I recommend him and his business to anyone I know looking for a car or anyone looking for a reliable mechanic. Being a single mom of 3 kids with limited knowledge about vehicles, I needed a mechanic I could trust and I am so glad I met Jason. I know that when I have an issue with my vehicles, I can trust him to give me an honest answer on the issue and a fair price on the repair. He always goes above and beyond to make my repairs easy, affordable and convenient. My kids have all purchased their first vehicles from Good Guys when they reached driving age (one 9 years ago, one 3 years ago and one just last week). Adam and Jason were helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable during the search for a vehicle and made the buying process enjoyable. I bought my last vehicle from Good Guys and they are in the process of finding me a vehicle now. I know that they will not sell me something unless they would be comfortable buying it for themselves and that is very comforting. Wendy

I recently purchased a 2011 Silverado LT Z71 4X4 crew cab from them, and I couldnt have been more pleased. I LOVE my new truck! Adam made the whole experience enjoyable, and stress free. My mom and I went to go look at it a couple of Saturdays ago, and Adam was there. I introduced myself and told him I was there to look at the red Silverado. He said "Sure. Let me grab the keys." Now, its sitting in my driveway. It has everything I wanted plus more. The price and mileage on the truck made buying it a no brainer. The price was well within my budget, and the mileage is low enough, that I should get many good years out of it. I would definitely buy another car, and especially truck from Adam and the guys at Good Guys again. I would highly recommend them to friends and family in the market for a good quality used car or truck

My girlfriend Ashley and I decided to trade in my 1999 Camry and get an 08 Lexus RX 350. Definitely went to the right place! Everyone at Good Guys helped make the process very smooth and easy. Within a week we were in our new car and couldnt be happier! The customer service was outstanding. They made is so easy all we had to do was show up and sign papers and the car was ours. After we bought the car we realized one of the headlights was out. We called Good Guys and they went above and beyond to help get it fixed! Not only did they loan us a rental car while repairing the headlight they delivered the car when it was ready! We are highly satisfied with how Jason, Adam and Matt took care of us. If youre in the market for a car, go see Good Guys! They wont let you down! A+

What an absolute amazing Auto Garage!!! The Whole Good Guys Team are by far the nicest youll meet!! Everyone is so friendly Highly Recommend all my friends and family to have their Vehicles serviced here at this fine establishment and its location is so convenient, right off 84 off of Queen Street very easy to get to!! Jason the owner is such a great guy to work with hes very very knowledgeable when it comes to anything with a motor. Adam and the sales team 5 star rating absolutely amazing!! Dean in the service department wow what a great knowledge guy and gets you in as soon as he can to get you in and out and drive away worry free knowing you have the GoodGuys who know their stuff on the Job!!
