I heard about this store from an event at the local Humane Society. They advertised themselves as being all natural, etc. I was very excited to hear about such a great place and make a trip out there the following weekend. I was very disappointed. When entering the store, we were never greeted and totally ignored. Most of their food had harmful ingredients like rawhide, wheat, or certain types of meat "meal"(if you know anything about what it put into most pet foods, when "meal" is put on a label it means a ground-up byproduct). The ambiance was cluttered and in a refrigerator containing perishable animal goodies was someones frozen lunch. Not worth the price they are charging-go to Appalachian Tails in Glastonbury- THERE is a one-of-a-kind killer local pet store!!!

The owners of Sweet Pea have taught me more about my pets and there well being, than I have learned in my entire life of owning pets. They always have great information for any situation, from proper daily nutrition to an illness, to good grooming and hygiene. They know their stuff! The store has everything that one could want....including their unique personalities. They are straight shooters and hard workers with a great understanding & compassion for all animals. I have recommended them to many, many people.
