In 2014 I bought a pair of Postal Worker shoes, because I have a neuroma and need the wider toe box and these were absolutely perfect. 2 years later - I called and asked someone to set the same ones aside to replace the ones that were finally worn out. Came up from North Haven to pick them up. Stupid me, didnt give much thought to the look of them, and went only by how much better the fit was than the other shoes I wore to the store that day (also New Balance, but different style). Paid cash. Told them to keep the box, itd just clutter my house. Got home, wore them Monday to work, the fit wasnt right but I chalked it up to being new and needing to break them in for a few days. Tossed the bag out with the trash pickup, including the receipt. Finally realized - they arent the Postal Worker shoes. No wonder my feet were in such agony Monday! Called today - they have me on file from my 2014 purchase, and said theyd switch out the new incorrect pair out and have the correct ones delivered to my house since they dont have them in stock and would order them on my behalf. I just have to bring in the incorrect pair. I was SO upset - because the Postal Workers are the first pair of sneakers Ive been able to wear on a daily basis and not come home in horrible pain, and I was worried Id be out $250 just due to my own stupidity in throwing out a receipt on a cash purchase, and having to pay twice for one pair of shoes. Their customer service is outstanding at the Manchester store and while the pair I took home wasnt the pair I thought I was getting, they were terrific at making it right for me. 5 stars even though they set the wrong pair aside for me, because it was my responsibility as the customer to make sure I was getting what I was expecting, and they still made it right.

So I went to this New Balance store to buy shoes for running. Almost two weeks ago. When I walked into the store I was greeted and assisted within 1 minute of looking at shoes. Then I got fitted for the most comfortable shoes Ive ever worn. Sure they were expensive, but you get what you pay for. Just yesterday I noticed that sole on my shoe was coming apart. I was upset with that but when I went back to the store today I could never have a better experience with a return. I showed the salesman what happened, he went into the back room for 30 seconds max and came back with a brand new pair no questions asked. I didnt even have to ask to get them replaced. I will definitely be going back here to get my next pair of shoes.

My husband was having foot issues with his shoes so I suggested we visit the New Balance store for new work shoes. Damien waited on us and he could not have been nicer or more helpful! He measured my husbands feet and did a pressure test on them. The shoes that my husband bought along with the inserts that Damien suggested made a huge difference in the way my husband walked. We would highly recommend going to the New Balance Store!

Ive been buying the same model here over and over again. I dont even try them on usually. The last time I picked up a pair the lady that helped me was incredibly rude and pushy. Basically told me a list of foot problems I might be having in the future if I dont buy their inserts. Ill be ordering them online from now on

The people at this store are great. I am a victim of polio, so I need strong shoes. The guys at this store build the soles of shoes, which I purchased elsewhere, so that they were wearable. The staff there is great.
