Place is clean, well tended, and well stocked., Seldom crowded! Great if you just need to run in for a few things and want to get in and out quickly. The folks working there are very friendly, helpful, and have a good knowledge of where things are and will help you find things if needed. Has a bakery, deli, seafood, and meat departments with good selections at reasonable prices. They have a store brand for just about everything and its frequently (not always) as good as name brands at a fraction of the cost. They have a savings card that saves you money aft the register and earns points toward savings at their gas station. The store is easy to get to, and has ample parking.

The quality is great and I lost my phone/wallet there today. Every worker in every department asked if they could help. A woman saw me frantically retracing my steps and asked me if I lost a phone and wallet. Shes an angel! Thank you!

The Putnam, Ct. Stop & Shop always has the best produce around by far ....plus the most courteous professional staff you could ask for. Prices are a bit high but its worth it..no question.

New self service check out sucks. No place to put the groceries unless you only have a few items. Only bought $57 worth and couldnt find room for my stuff.
