I am very pleased with my experience shopping at this Market Basket. The staff ALWAYS know where everything is, ALWAYS address me respectfully and friendly, and can even explain the difference in products (specifically the butchers who were gracious enough to explain the differences in steak to me). Early on in my pregnancy, I went in for a grocery trip alone. With a cart full of groceries, I suddenly became quite ill, as pregnant women often do. The woman who was bagging groceries took one look at me and directed me to the nearest bathroom. While I was in there, they sent someone in to check on me, rang up all of my groceries for me, and even loaded them into my car for me. You will NEVER get service like that from any other store, ESPECIALLY Walmart. I drive past a dozen grocery stores on my way to this Market Basket without batting an eye... if they keep their prices and customer service at this level, they will ALWAYS have my business.

This guy Michael wrote Shaws and BJs would be better to go to.BJs depending on the product you might be right on a few things,but you have to pay a yearly fee to shop there and you have to buy much of their product in bulk.When market basket had its family problems last summer we went to Shaws once,and thought they made a mistake on the bill because it was so high.We paid $35.00 more in one week than we paid at MB the previous week.We thought lets go back to Shaws and calculate everything,then lets go at MB and buy the same things.Well the bill at MB was $111.03,at Shaws it was 138.30.a $27.00 savings So Michael your just flat out wrong in your comparisons.

Just wanted to let you know how happy with this dept. I went to your store on Friday morning and purchesed some seedless red grapes. When I got home to clean all my fruits and veggies, I noticed that finally the bag that the grapes where in was sealed with a little red tab, instead of the bag being open for anyone to just go into a bag and eat the grapes. I have seen so many people do this during my years of shopping, that I always wanted to say something to them..........Again thank you for helping your customers......As always

I am shocked at the homemade food served on a daily basis. I have been trying just about everything and for the price you just cant beat what you get . If you just dont want to cook this is the place to go rather than fast food you can eat great homemade food. Great friendly people are always their to help you even if you need help to your car with something heavy they will be there to help as they help me. Just ask and they do their best to help you. Very nice place and always very busy.

They worst service I have ever had! I set the grocery basket on the belt then the cashier just dumped everything out breaking the cookies I got. When I walked out I had to make sure they werent going to be rude to my elderly mother. The cart guy was rude and cussed at us. I went back in to complain then the store manager broke the other cookies he gave me. I suggest not going to Market basket. Go to Walmart for some customer service.

This is by far the least expensive supermarket in Leominster. Recently expanded, it now has hot food and subs cooked to order (the steak and cheese is the best in the area). They have a huge selection of fresh, quality meats. No long lines. I go to Shaws for bakery products, but for everything else I go here. Highly recommended.

The service is very variable here - also keep in mind they dont have enough checkout lanes to accommodate everyone on peak hours. Prices are overrated at best. You will still save 20% over MBs prices by shopping at BJs, or even Shaws is tracking to be a bit cheaper for a quality basket of groceries these days.

The prices here can never be beat and they have a great selection of foods from your basic oatmeal to fancy foreign cheese. In addition I feel better about giving my money to a family owned company that trays their workers well than a large corporations that may have low prices but treat workers terrible.

sorry, im a grape eater but thats because i like to know what im getting so before i buy grapes i wanna make sure there not extreamly bitter or sour. otherwise they wouldnt get eaten in my house. so if we grapeeaters cant experiment we might not be buying grapes at market basket sorry ..

Hot food Dept is slow and ignores customers. Especially this guy. Hate him. People around me say the same thing. Paul, I think. No one can seem to multitask and never is there anyone over seeing the situation!!!

Great prices, but the smell at and around the deli is terrible! Smells like chemicals and rotting meat. I cant even stomach being near it! Unfortunately, Ive resigned to buying groceries at higher cost.
