I had tried to order flowers for the birthday of a dear friend in Norwalk, CT (across the country from me) using ProFlowers online. But the arrangement never showed up - even though I received an email on the day of her birthday saying they had been delivered! After a few attempts to remedy the situation I started searching online for local florists in her area and found Licari Custom Floral Designs by J.P. I called and spoke to J.P. himself, who won me right away with his impeccable customer service - he was actually working with a family on a funeral at that moment, and asked if he could call me back. I was impressed with how gracious he was both to me and to the grieving family, and with his clear concern for their needs. He called back minutes later, and then spent ten or fifteen minutes with me on the phone to select the flowers for my friend, walking over to the cases to describe for me the flowers he had and suggesting different combinations of colors that might work, taking care to get all of the details right. He gave me a time window for the delivery and took my friends number so that he could call ahead and let her know the delivery was on its way, which I especially appreciated after my experience with the other company. J.P. even asked a few questions about my bad experience because he serves on a state board that deals with business ethics and he was genuinely concerned, which just floored me. This morning I received a call from my friend, overflowing with thanks for the gorgeous arrangement. She went on and on about the colors, the attentive delivery person, the vase, the ribbons, everything. So, J.P. is not only an ethical and caring business owner, hes an artist, too! My only regret is that I didnt call him in the first place!!! If I could give him TEN stars, I would, for how thoroughly delighted my friend was. My whole experience with Licari Custom Floral Designs was amazing from beginning to end. I know ordering online seems like the way to do things, but you trade automation for personalization. Next time, Im just calling J.P.!

My husband is the one who discovered Licari at SONO train Station. They were so beautiful, that I deceided the next time I needed to order flowers I would call JP. I had asked that they just leave the flowers on the receipiants door step. But that day was an unusual 80Degrees, JP actually called me and said he would prefer not to. Any other place would have just left them. I asked if he could deliver them after 5. JP actually delivered them himself. I highly recommend Licari Floral Designs. The flowers are beautiful and the price is perfect and the customer service is FANTASTIC!

I live a great distance from Norwalk and when my brother-in-law passed away suddenly I searched the web for a local florist to deliver flowers to the funeral home. I chose Licari Floral Designs because of their very good Google reviews. They did not disappoint. The salesman was helpful and courteous. I was so pleased when I saw the floral arrangement at the wake. It was beautiful. The flowers were fresh, plentiful, and beautifully arranged. I highly recommend this florist.

I asked JP to design a Fall floral arrangement that would be appreciated by a special lady who is a first class interior designer. He made a special trip to the supply house for the materials and the design that blew me away! It is nice to locate great retailers on the internet. I can highly recommend this florist. Did a wonderful birthday bouquet given the vaguest instructions. She was so thrilled she took a picture of the arrangement and texted it back to me. Thank you for making me look good, when I otherwise would not have. Price was competitive with other area competitors. Artistic result was superior.
