My 20 month old son and I went to the Toys R Us in Newington, CT to get some toy storage. After locating what we needed we proceeded to the register. The item that I had in my cart was 10$ off. The women asked(in an extremely unprofessional manner) if I was sure about that? I said, I was, because if it wasnt on sale I wouldnt have wanted it. She got on her walkie-talkie radio and asked a man to check the sign on the item. Sure enough, I was right. Item was 60$ on sale for 50$ and I had a 5$ coupon, apparently this was to much math for the now 2 women trying to figure this out. 10 minutes later Im out of the store, swearing Ill NEVER go back!!! I get home, take the items out and realize a piece is broken, Ill be going to another store to exchange it! The employees at this store clearly dont like their jobs and should consider a job/career that doesnt require customer service skills.

ordered barbie dreamhouse for my daugthers birthday on the 23 of dec with a 2-5 day delivery, 8 days later never received it, contacted toys r us they told me that I shouldnt have to wait much longer. Next day got an email that my money was being refunded and they didnt have anymore in stock to send to me.... 5 days before my daugthers bday... Ok whatever what could I do about that, right.. So I waited untill the fourth and went back to toys r us to purchase something for her birthday and what do you know 10 barbie dreamhouses sitting on the shelf, wtff. After refunding my money, and paying bills I was no longer able to afford the one thing she wanted. great customer service guys thanks alot. I feel like they refunded my money because I called to complain and they no longer wanted to deal with my issue of waiting past the arrival date.

This has been the worst toys r us visit I ever had. I went there, just wanted to buy 1 thing with my 10% off Thursdays credit card. And the entire process took me 1 hr and 10 minutes. Somehow their price is not consistent with the price on Toysrus website, and the 10% off wasnt applying to the item. I found out at the door and went back to get it sorted out. They had to return and rescan and it still dont work, and they just keep pushing on the computer while I stand there for another 40 minutes. At the end the manager finally did the override and I got it with the correct price. You woulda thought hell do that earlier. I would never shop at this store again!

Poor customer service. Went with a coupon the cashier was too lazy to charge the toys I got in separate transactions so that I "the customer " can benefit from the coupon. Will never shop at this store again. Waterbury Ct. store is way better.

Starting to get a little old. Staff is okay at best. Great place, however, for formula. They usually run a save $10 promo when you buy 2 big cans. ..great savings, especially when you have rewards coupons.
