- Took over 4 hours to buy and activate my new phones - Service didnt work at my house, work, parents house or on many otherwise covered areas by Verizon. - When I returned the equipment, it took over an hour just for someone to speak with me. I had to wait in a line for over an hour. - They refunded my equipment and cancelled my account. They took possession of my equipment. - I continued to get bills from Sprint stating that I never returned my equipment and threatening with fees. - I contacted the store 3 times, was put on hold and then someone would say the manager was too busy to deal with me. They took my name and number. He/She never called me. - I followed up with corporate 3 times. Corporate told me to call the store the first time. The second time they told me they would help, put me on hold for 43 minutes and then hung up on me. The third time someone was able to help. They admitted the store didnt log the equipment. They told me it is resolved, but I have wasted countless hours dealing with this company when it should have been a simple transaction. As I can see from these online reviews, I am not the only one. Dont buy Sprint, especially from the 3153 Berlin Turnpike store in Newington, CT 06111. PS. Went back to Verizon, very happy. Wont leave them again...

I cant think of another time when Ive ever written a review but Im so furious that I felt I needed to make others aware of my poor service. I had a brief stint with Sprint (less than 30 days) just before the iPhone 4 was released. According to their policy, any phone can be returned for a FULL refund within 30 days. Corporate is stating that their records indicate that I returned AFTER 30 days, which is completely false (but who saves receipts?). They want me to drive to the Sprint store to rectify THEIR error or else theyre sending me to collections for $180! No if ands or buts. By the way, my credit card statement with the purchase and refund date is not sufficient. I spoke with 2 supervisors!! Ive made several attempts to contact the the store via telephone but I get caught in an endless loop of "were sorry our agents are busy helping customers in the store...". It seems I have no other option other than to drive to the store (25 min) and wait in line for another hour so that they can fix their error before I get sent to collections. I have to say their cell service was fine but two incredibly unsatisfied thumbs down for customer service.

I love this Sprint Store. I am not sure why so many people have had problems but I have had the opposite. Everyone in this location has been helpful and amazing to deal with. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to speak with someone (that is without an appointment). For those that have not had a good experience, I am baffled. I have been with Sprint for 14 years on my own plan or under my employers plan and have shopped at this store for the last 2. Westfarms Location is by far the worst. Dont go there. Thanks Newington Store, I think you are the number 1 store in the area.

After telling me my phone would be repaired (blackberry under manf. warranty) 2 hours later they said it was unrepairable due to water damange - even tho the water damage indicator wasnt showing water damage - go figure. Since i didnt have any credits towards another phone, sales tried to sell me a $400 replacement. When i said there is no way I was going to spend that much money on a phone - he actually told me he had a bunch of his own barely used Blackberrys that he wud sell me for $150!!! WTF how unethical is that! i walked out!

every employee in this store has a bad attitude. I just asked how long the wait was going to be - was told a few minutes - I actually waited over an hour. When I finally was served, I was treated as if my questions were stupid, and walked away without a phone. Later the customer service rep when you call sprint gave me a different answer to all my questions, and was able to help me. You are better of just calling the 800 number for sprint!

I have been in sprint for over 10 years. Now they have a much worse network. When I decided to move to verizon they demanded an overdue payment for leasing the phones. I paid but the phones do not want to unlock. Im waiting 2 months for them and nothing. I lost money and phones.Sprint is thieves and fraudsters and the service in this store is terrible and not nice. Never choose Sprint. if you want to save money.

Its horrible and very disorganized, it takes me at least 2 hours just for some one to Awnser my question and it took over 4 hours to activate 4 phones, when in verizon when I had them it took at the most 45 minutes to activate the phones and not even 10 minutes for some one to come help you with a question that you would have, dont get sprint.

I was more then satisfied with this store. I received great service, and the rep took there time to answer all my questions. I came in very upset with my service i received from the crappy sprint on Washington St in Middletown, and they were more then happy to take care of what i needed were the other store refused to even try. :)

I didnt even want to give this place a star.... they lie to you to get your account and it turns out that I am paying 100 dollars more then what they told me and i have been back and forth with sprint about this at the end of the day it seems i will be writing the BBB and FCC because this is pointless and I am disgusted with them.

Never sign up with Sprint! They are all liars and only after your money. Once you have a problem they will do nothing but make empty promises and pass the buck to some other mystery department to fix. You call in and wait on hold forever and still no resolution. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

This place is crazy. The employees could care less that you exist and after spending an hour in this store, i still havent been acknowledged. People that showed up after me are getting helped, but they wont help me. Im entirely done with this store, its the cancer of customer service.

I made and appointment online. After waiting well beyond my appt. time I was told I would need to wait an additional 20 minutes because they had not yet started setting up the phone. I had my young son with me and was very dissapointed. I left and returned after another appointment.

Everyone at the Newington store was amazing with both visits. Definitely worth the wait and you will wait since they only had 2 people working each time, I dont know how they do it all day every day. They got me more than I expected and under my budget!

The staff dont care, the customers time is not important to them. I was a Verizon customer, I never thought that I would regret the decision to switch, today after my recent experience, I am feeling the pain, paying for poor service.
