We have bought many, many pieces of furniture from Katahdin over the years and I could not disagree more with the other reviewer. The owners have been extremely attentive, helping us find bargins, and on 2 occasions replacing for free (a) a bed board that had cracked (due to my child jumping on it!) and an entire bureau whose top began to slightly warp with age (several years after we bought it). We damaged the bed- they fixed for free! Our bureau was bought and paid for for at least 2 or 3 years and they still replaced it at no cost. No one else would ever do these things. BEST FURNITURE STORE IN the New Haven area. I like this store so much i am shopping here now even though i moved to philadelphia several years ago

We bought a very expensive couch, we no sooner got it home and noticed rips in the fabric.. I called the owner and he could care less, it was now our problem. Ive never paid so much money to be treated so poorly. Dont waste your money here!!!!!
