I have been a customer at Roses since moving to Meriden just over a year ago. Im not sure what happened with the situation Doreen describes below but I can tell you that the old owners are still working for the new owner so the change of ownership probably has nothing to do with whatever happened. If she had read the article in the Record Journal, or been to the shop, she would know that. The new owner (Nicole) is very nice, experienced and super helpful. The flowers are always amazing and last a long time. Further, the showroom looks great since the change of ownership. Its been painted and remodeled. It is bright, open, clean and has some really nice gifts for sale now. Also, the new front window displays have been really beautiful to see when driving thru the area since the change. I wont get flowers from anyplace else.

Roses did the flowers for our wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. The prices were more reasonable than any other florist we spoke with. We showed Fred a picture that we had found on pinterest and he did a beautiful job of not only recreating the bouquet, but improving upon it. The deliveries were on time to both sites (the girls bouquets were delivered to the house and the guys boutonnieres and altar flowers went to the church) and we got so many compliments on how beautiful the flowers were. I would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for wedding flowers!

Yesterday I called from Oregon on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 (ET), to see if there was ANY chance of getting an arrangement delivered the same day to a spontaneous family celebration in Middlefield. The gal who answered put me on hold long enough to call and check where her delivery truck was, then said no problem, and asked for details to design a special arrangement. I heard today that it arrived and was perfect! Rose Flowers Rocks!

What happened to this place, change hands and now the customer service is horrible. I was interrupted 3 times so she could take another call? Telling me she is busy? She didnt listen to what type of flowers I wanted and was telling me what kind she had and that people dont specify what they want they just order? Wow miss the old owners for sure. Need to find a new florist.

We ordered flowers for my sisters birthday, the woman on the phone was excellent. I gave her a brief description of what I wanted, my price range and when I needed it delivered and she took care of the rest. Its literally one of the prettiest bouquets Ive ever seen, highly recommend!

The only place to buy flowers in this area. With a new team on board designs are bolder and dramatic. But the true value is in the old school methodology of arrangement and delivering an exceptional arrangement for any occasion. Youll love them.
