If I could give this place so many negative stars I would. We went to purchase a couch and the salesman was very pushy and would not leave us alone until we asked for time to look at things on our own, after we finally made a decision looking for someone to help us was impossible. After finding the salesman who wouldnt leave us alone we told him which couch we wanted. He disappeared into the "stock room" to find out what they had for what we wanted. He was gone for 40 minutes. Once he returned he started to fill out the paperwork and he left us just sitting at the desk to help another customer. He was gone for another 20 minutes. This man was all over the place and one of the 5 times he left us we just walked out. We returned the next day, our mistake, and we wanted to purchase the same couch. There was a sign on the door that said best price garuntee so we figured we would see if the couch was anywhere else cheaper. We found the same couch but they would not price match it for us. They refused and told us they could give us the tax back but that was it. Also we were moving to RI and the pick up date changed 4 times while we were talking to them. We needed the couch on a certain day and they made us pay extra because they messed up the pick up dates. This was a month ago and Im still waiting on the tax refund check. They are rude and their customer service sucks.

I loved the appearance of the store. The quality of the furniture is high end and comfy and put together very nicely. My salesperson was very accommodating. The price was very reasonable for what I bought. The delivery was scheduled within 24 hours, which was impressive. When my furniture was delivered, I had a few concerns about the appearance of some of the funiture, as I am very picky. I called the Manchester Store and voiced my concerns. The customer service was above and beyond. I was then transferred to Service and again, the customer service was above and beyond. My issues were resolved and my furniture was replaced almost immediately. Everyone I dealt with was so nice, attentive, professional, compassionate and truly cared about my satisfaction and happiness with my purchase. I would highly recommend Pilgrim Furniture City to anyone and I will definitely use Pilgrim Furniture City for any future shopping needs. I have to admit that I was really worried that I would be stuck with something less than perfect, and I am so thrilled that I ended up with perfect, especially in such a short period of time, less than one week to resolve my concerns and replace my furniture. They have a great staff, great management and great service department. Kudos to you Pilgrim Furniture City!

Their is so many good things i say about Pilgrim Furniture in Manchester, CT. Extreme hate for Bobs Discount Furniture in Manchester CT for lying and promising a deliver for a month and still not receiving it i wondered into the Manchester Pilgrim store not expecting to like anything to be greeted by Dave Pugliese. Superb customer satisfaction and product awareness about an industry which i had no idea about. My wife wasnt available at the time but Dave went above and beyond to explain the different mattresses and beds i actually spent 2hrs in their and the whole time Dave walked and spoke with me answering each question i had and made sure i was completely satisfied. That impressed me because my wife MUST BE HAPPY!! I want to make sure that if i am spending money i get the best service as well as product. RESPECT goes a long way. I feel like I made a friend not just a sale with Dave Pugliese. Thank you for making my mattresses buying experience seamless and most of all thank you for making my wife happy. My Queen can now enjoy getting her rest in our brand new King size bed and mattress.. DIFFERENT BREED

Im not sure why this company has so many bad reviews. About 2 weeks ago I purchased a king size mattress set with the bed frame from Pilgrim. Not only was the customer service great, Thanks to Scott! He was so patient walking around with an indecisive pregnant woman! But the delivery time frame exceeded my expectations. Originally my mattress set was on back order, but they were able to have it delivered much sooner than expected. The manager contacted me stating they would were abe to get the set sooner, and asked if I would like next day delivery. I agreed and was given a 3-4hr window. My matress was delivered within the first 20 minutes of the time frame given. Superior! I chose to pick up the bed frame myself, and the delivery guy in the back assisted with loading the items onto the truck! Thank you Pilgrim for the wonderful experience, your customer service was awesome and I will be back soon to purchase a bunk bed set!

We bought a sectional for our new home from Pilgrim. Despite having some issues with the delivery timing, the customer service we received was excellent!! Dave the store manager in particular has been and remains friendly, professional and easy to deal with to resolve the issue. Things happen sometimes no one is perfect, customer or store. Its easy to write a good review about a company when everything is perfect. However, you know a company is good when a problem happens and they FIX it and help you out to get the best possible outcome. Thats the kind of people you want to do business with, the kind that calls you back, treats you with the utmost respect and works with you to make your transaction get the best possible outcome. That was Dave the manager in Manchester he makes sure things get done and get done the right way.

I recently purchased a recliner from Pilgrim Furniture and from the time I walked through the door to the time I left was a pleasant experience. My salesperson, Jason Rivera was extremely helpful with showing me the different selections of recliners that the had to choose from. Once I found the recliner I wanted to purchase, Jason transferred me over to the front desk where Samantha Militar made the check out process a breeze, explaining the finance offers as well as the protection plan that I took advantage of. I purchased the chair on a Sunday and Received it on Wednesday without any issues. After all said and done I will say that I plan on returning to Pilgrim Furniture in the future.

We have been searching for a Wall Unit that would fit into our Master Bedroom in a condo, gain additional drawer space, and add a home for our large screen TV. We found our solution at Pilgrim Furniture in Manchester with the help of Scott. We were VERY impressed with Scotts soft sell casual demeanor. When it came time for measurements, he was very helpful and even moved units around so we could envision three pieces of furniture, when placed together along one wall, would create the wall unit we were looking for. Thanks, Scott, for your kind unpressured, yet VERY professional customer service. We will definitely return and ask for Scott when we need accessories for the same room.
