I was wary of going to this shop due to the bad reviews. I stopped in anyways because it was the closest to me. The staff seemed fine. The only issue I have is that they have a $30 "single dress surcharge" for the bridesmaids dress I wanted to order from Alfred Angelo. I didnt know if this was a standard charge or not, so I called a couple shops further away and when I asked, they were confused. So this $30 is just an extra, unnecessary charge. Im glad I called other shops. I cant speak to anything beyond that, but be aware that you might encounter this if you are only buying one dress. On a positive note, Ash mentioned it right away, after I had been consulting with one of the staff. edit: It all depends on if they mark-up the price of the dress or sell it at retail. The tag on the dress I wanted was $139.99 (retail), which would be about $170 total. I went to another shop and the dress was already marked up to $160. So I would just shop around... I didnt have enough time myself. My rating should be average (***) because I didnt end up purchasing the dress from them.

This place is awful. The entire time my friends and I were trying in bridesmaids dresses the owner was stalking us around the dressing rooms making sexist pig comments and tell us how pretty we were. Gross. Afterwards I went to the register wearing a size 8 that was falling off me and way too big. It was the only size they had and my friend wanted me to wear it to her wedding so I went up to the front to order the correct size. The owner took my measurements and told me I was a size 12. I told him theres no way. He gave me the meanest look and told me that based on his measurements I am a 12. I told him what I was wearing was an 8 and clearly too big. He looked me up and down, said "oh" and started to turn away saying "ok well order whatever you want then". So rude. The dress took 8 months to come in and when I went in to pick it up, the store was closed and the lights off even though the hours on the front door indicated they should be open. The store is dingy and cheap and they are never open the hours they say they are. Literally go anywhere else.

A word to the wise....STAY AWAY, Far away from this place..The owner is rude, pushy, and sleazy..The dresses are inferior knock offs from China, and they look it..The company engages in shady business practices of trying to get you into a dress that is not the correct size, just so they can run the price up considerabley with very expensive alterations. And in my experience, they charge you for alterations that dont even do to the dress. A $150 dress ended up costing close to $300 after the numerous alterations needed to get it correct. The seamstresses are part of the extortion policy and are completely unqualified to work on torn dish rags, let alone a dress. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY.....

My niece, her future mother in law, my cousin and myself, went to East - West Bridal Boutique and were pleasantly surprised by the selection of dresss and the personal care given to us by the owner Ash. After reading the reviews on this website I was expecting much and didnt think we would be there long. I was wrong he showed us some beautiful dresss and had a very good eye for what veil would go with each dress, Ash was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for making our day.

worst shop I have ever shopped in very rude and very untrustworthy. lies and orders wrong style and wrong size so they can alter and charge more money I lost $400.00 and the crook still has both outfits we paid for. very bad experiance, he sincerely has no regard for women and is very unprofessional. once he has your money your history and he cares less what you need or want. STAY AWAY PLEASE

Good experience. In 1997, I purchased my prom dress East -West...now 20 years later my daughter finds a beautiful prom dress in the same location. The service from Sam and Ash was outstanding. Both were welcoming and attendees to our needs. My baby girl was super excited about her dress. Thank you for the service.

Very helpful and very nice to work with. Gorgeous dresses to choose from. Great prices and seamstress work is outstanding. Im very surprised at the ratings because out of the over a dozen stores I went to this store win me over.

Had no nice dresses. Most of them were smaller sizes. The owners there give no personal space whats so ever. The bigger sizes looked cheap and were falling apart. Never again, will I step in there. Waste of time, honestly.

Rude, rude, rude!! The owner literally said, "well, are you done cause Im tired and Im going home" and before we walked out he had turned the store lights off. Bad experience will never visit that store again.
