I had a really good experience here when I went to buy my wedding dress. Everyone was very helpful and nice, which was awesome because I felt like I had no clue what I was doing. They helped me figure out what I liked and what looked good on me and had no issues with us bringing a fairly large group of girls to help me out. The one issue I had was that I wanted a less expensive dress and so bought one of the ones off the rack that they assured me could be fitted to me. When I went to the seamstress she said there was no way, and I ended up having to go back and order a completely different dress in my size. Even though the staff was helpful and the return of my first dress wasnt a problem, it was still wasted time and hassle I wouldnt have had to go through if the staff at Trace of Lace knew how far a dress could be altered. Despite all this I still liked them enough that I went back to get my senior bridesmaids dresses there as well. Once again the staff was very helpful trying to coordinate senior bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids with different styles and colors that all came together for a beautiful bridal party.

If youre looking for a wedding dress, start at a Trace of Lace! They have a beautiful store, fantastic selection of dresses, and a knowledgeable and caring staff. This store is the only one in the area that has Allure gowns - if you havent seen them before, you should take a look! As someone with a fairly large bust, I was very impressed that I didnt require any additional undergarments - the dress was so well built that it held itself up! Do yourself a favor and start here. You wont be disappointed.

I was very nervous about trying on dresses, but I decided to go here for the first time. The dresses are spectacular, extraordinarily reasonable, and widely varied. I was able to try on a number of individual styles. The owner of the shop is one of the kindest and most supportive people Ive ever met. She made me feel very comfortable, and was honest when a dress didnt look right.

I am very plus sized. They do not have a very good selection of gowns over size 22. The gowns they do have in those sizes are not very fancy or stylish. They lack beads sequins, sweeping trains, etc. No princess dress for fat girls here.
