My mother, sisters and I went to this store to try on dresses for a funeral. Upon entering this store, an associate named Marsha continuously asked " if she can put our items in the fitting room" which she eventually did. As my mom was trying on the dress, Marsha periodically checked on us but my mom did not buy anything due to the fit. As we headed out, the store owner Lori approached us and accused us of stealing a dress, saying that Marsha was missing an item. We went back and told Marsha we didnt take anything. We opened our bags and etc. She kept on insisting that a dress was missing. My sister said if we stole something we would have ran out of the store. Marsha then said it was probably their mistake. I corrected her and said she should be apologizing for announcing to everyone in the store that we stole something when at the end Marsha couldnt count to 7 while nervously watching these black people in their boutique. I have never felt much humiliation and embarrassment in my shopping experience! And having much experience working in retail I have never racially profiled anyone. Anyone can steal not only black people! Horrible shopping experience I have ever encountered! And this was said in front of their customers !

Just came from their store today with a horrible racist experience from their staff. My mom, sisters and I went there to just look for some clothes for a funeral. There were other white customers there but one associate would continuously and only ask us, "If we wanted her to bring our clothes to the dressing room." We ended up not finding anything and were about to leave when an associate stopped us saying Marsha (an associate) was missing a dress. My whole family and I came back, showed them our bags and let them know how disrespectful they were for loudly accusing us for stealing. Of course Marsha miscounted and instead of apologizing for disrespecting my family and I in public, they only said "It was probably a mistake." The only mistake was stepping into that store. We shouldve have left when they constantly kept asking "Do you need any help?" to the only black family in the store. Do not shop here unless you support racist people who have a tendency to profile you the instant you step into their doors.

From the moment my mom, sister and I stepped in this store Marsha was always there watching our every step and asked several times to put my moms items in a fitting room. We are looking dresses for a funeral. My mom wasnt happy with the fit and decided not to purchase anything. We headed for the door and a larger woman yelled to us that Marsha has one hanger that doesnt have an item. We immediately stopped in our tracks and headed over for them to check our bags and our persons. Marsha and the larger woman was persistent that we had taken a dress. I told her if we stole something we would have ran out of the door. After opening our bags and lifting up layers of our clothing they said possibly it was there mistake. I had to correct them and say that should be apologizing to us instead of giving us their "possibilities". Mind you this all happened when there were customers in the store. Worst sales experience we had in our life!! Racism at its finest!

I wandered around Evergreen Walk on 1/25 looking for a microwavable heating pad for my back pain and found Sonoma lavender flax seed heating pads in this store! The store employee who was working that night was so kind. She told me about the lavender farm that Sonoma owns and said the store has heating blankets on order! Ill never get out of bed if I buy one of those!
