I bought a used, low-mileage, 2000 Mustang convertible from Car City in October of 2012 and I still have the vehicle today. When I first arrived, the salesman (I think the owner?) gave me space to look over the car without coming out to hassle me. When I was ready, he came outside, let me inside of the vehicle, went over everything with me, and told me to take as much time as I wanted looking at it. He told me when I was ready for a test drive, hed photocopy my drivers license and hand over the keys. I test drove the car for around 20 minutes (all alone). I checked underneath of the car, under the engine, etc., and everything appeared to be in good order. I had a Nissan Sentra and the owner gave me a fair offer on a trade-in (he actually offered more than I was expecting to get). Then I made an offer on the Mustang, $1k less than what he was asking, and he accepted. The Mustang has been great ever since. When I got the vehicle home, I noticed the air conditioner didnt work and apparently hadnt been checked. I had to get that charged. But that was minor. I had a remote car starter in my Nissan and asked if he could install that in the Mustang, free of charge, when I picked up the car. He agreed to do this -- and gave me a loaner car to drive for a few hours while he transferred over my remote starter. The wait was a little lengthy, considering they didnt even start working on it for 1-2 hours despite an appointment, but at least they gave me a loaner to kill time with. He was great in handling all of the DMV stuff, which I was concerned about being Im a NY resident and hes operating in CT. But he said this is routine for him since hes so close to the state line.

There should be a special place in hell for people like you. You take advantage of young people with poor or no credit. You ripped off my 20 year old daughter when you sold her a Mazda 3 last August. She was alone, and desperate for a car to go to work with, and you totally took advantage of that fact. The A/C compressor was blown, and you promised her you would fix it. She brought it in 3 times, only to find nothing fixed when she picked it up. To add insult to injury - the last time she brought it in, she had a half tank of gas when she left it - and the tank was empty when she picked it up, and again - it was still not fixed. The price of the car was double that of the Kelly Blue Book price, and you got her financing at a WHOPPING 17%!!! One of the struts gave out, and we just learned of a cracked motor mount. The armrest in the back seat is missing, there is a lousy bondo job on the right quarter panel, and all the black trim on the inside is flaking off, only to show a hideous neon green color underneath. I hope someday your own daughters or sons falls prey to the same unscrupulous characters as you are....but until then, we will do all we can to report you to the BBB, Consumer Affairs, the DMV, and anyone else we can think of. You get a ZERO stars rating. I only put the one star because I couldnt post this unless I put something.

El día 24 de mayo me acerque donde el dueño del car City.. Para que me soluciones un problema que tenía con el control de mi carro . El señor dueño.. lejos de ayudarme y solucionar ese problema que ya tenía más de 5 semanas . La sorpresa fue muy grande que el dueño no me solucionó el problema, me manda a salir del lugar . si hasta amenazó a mi sobrina con llamar a la policía para que nos sacará del lugar . No recomiendo que cometan el mismo error que yo cometí en financiar un vehículo en ese lugar .. Porqué no cumplen con lo que ofrecen.. Tube que solucionar mi problema por mi propia cuenta..

My daughter bought an 05 Civic. They seemed trustworthy and made buying the car easy. My daughter, wife, and myself all heard Brad say during the transaction, and Im paraphrasing, "Even thought its sold As Is if you have any issues let us know and well stand behind the car". Evidently that means they stand behind the car, wave goodbye, and when you call with an issue they do nothing but tell you theyll help and never do. It soon became clear the car was sold by the previous owner because of a blown head gasket. I called Brad who told me his dad Charlie handled all the service. So far so good. Charlie asked for an estimate (we live 3 hours away). The first delay tactic was to tell us he thought the estimate was too high. I called another shop and got an estimate that was close to first one. Then Charlie said I should bring it to them and they would fix it. That morphed into them paying for less than half the repair. I asked if they would pay that amount if I had the repair done close to home and Charlie said yes. After a few more weeks and several phone calls they kept saying they would pay and the check never showed up. I would not recommend buying a car from them.

LOOK AT THERE BBB RATING!!! IVE BEEN TOLD MY CAR WONT BE FIXED UNLESS I TAKE THIS DOWN I bought a 2006 Subaru From this Place. I dealt with a sales Person by the name of Brad Guy, Brad was very nice and cordial, up until the headgasket blew the next day and smoked up the interior of the vehicle wich made a unpleaseant ride for my 5 year old daughter. BRADs attitude changed quickly when I disputed some Labor charges for for replacing the water pump/ and timing belt that was done by my request while the engine was being worked on (Figuring it would save money on labor) I was told several different prices, wich made things seem very shady. We agreed on a price of 400..300 in parts and 100 in labor after 10 minutes of bickering with this "man" BRAD GUY NEVER RETURNED ONE PHONE CALL.....not one....there is now under 3,000 miles on the vehicle, I had them replace a coupling that was causing severe vibration, I had to drop off the car on two seperate occasions to have this handled. Now it seems those vibrations are back, most likley the wheel bearings...
