XISMZERO

An old-school Hartford-area staple, one of the few left owned by a humble Korean family. Donuts are delicious, on-site made, varietous and plentiful even in the afternoon when ubiquitous rival chains taper off. Like most remaining WDs, theres usually a lot of curmudgeonous, foul-mouthed geezers here who are manner-deprived but if you take your goods to go, they wont look at you like an outsider (even if youre a years-long frequenteer). They recently changed cup manufacturers (at all WD franchises) and the coffee suffers from an intense inky/papery stench which hurts whats an otherwise charming yesteryear coffee hole.

I have been coming here with my grandparents for over 10 years, everyday I get different things...I dont like coffee but my grandparents do they say its good and so is the hot cocoa and tea. The sandwiches may not be made with real real stuff but their good and I know that all the donuts and bagels are all homaid and good if recommend trying this place

My grandfather and I go here every day before work. The donuts are cheap, as is the coffee. Everything tastes great, and the staff are very friendly.

Price seem high for the quality of the coffee. Large was a typical medium elsewhere. Wouldnt come back.
