I was stoked about this place because of all the great stuff I had heard about it through friends. "Oh man you gotta try this donut place its the best" I had heard from at least 4 different people from my town of Baldwin, while this place is in lynbrook. so Im giving it three stars because my friends from a town or two away like it, even though I think it deserves less than 2 even 0 stars. I even went with a friend who enjoyed her donuts very much and saved one for a day later, and ate it and she enjoyed it very much. I just did not have a good time at all. The reason why I didnt like this place was because I was heavily expecting donuts. I expected donuts from a fryer and tasting like a real donut like the kinds from Krispy creme or dounkin. It was so exciting to have a good donut place around and all the hype people created made me think there was hope since the kripsys closed in the area but I think this had to be one of the biggest dissapointments Ive experienced this year. It could have been because I had very high expectations to begin with, but I ended up with a very thick, very dense, tiny little cake with tons of topping on it. Sure, very creative to be a donut but Ill just say its a wide thick cupcake and definitely 100% not worth the calories for anyone looking to drop weight but in need of a quick cheat snack. I was then informed by a very disinterested girl, who knew her stuff but just didnt seem to love her job, that I wouldnt need two donuts but one because its so dense it would fill me up. I ended up eating two, and being very nauseous from how grossly dense the "donuts" were, AND I still starving after both. I was terribly hungry after 2 dense donuts which is questionable. for the next 3-4 hours of the day I Did not eat because of how heavy the donuts were as they were extremely heavy and dense, though I was starving since I had eaten the 2, and I couldnt really shake how disappointing the donuts were. Its now a day later and my mind is still blown on how much popularity a donut place has gotten though they dont really even make donuts. The pricing is perfect. The pricing is exactly how much these donuts should cost. Theyre very cost effiecent and I am shocked at since so much popularity that they would be so cheap. Thats a reason they deserve more stars than 0. In shorter words, you may like it, you may not. Support your local businesses regardless. Tag them in Instagram posts when you try them out, some people may like the dense donuts. The pricing is great and theyre not popular for no reason, so you might like it. For me, it was the biggest disappointment and I wish I did not put myself through such a heavy, gross, food just to feel like Im starving after. There was no line when i went so no comment on service timing. Overall, okay but please someone make real donuts.

Doughnuts are bad for you and bad for your diet, I get that! But if you are going to eat doughnuts, then you might as well eat them at a place that does not mass produce them, that has the machines in-house to produce them and are made by someone who KNOWS a thing or two about doughnuts . . . not ONLY because he owns the business, BUT because the guy who owns the business is a retired cop . . . come on, who knows doughnuts better than a cop!? Soooo, I digress . . . the doughnuts are made fresh throughout the day and they have a menu of custom made doughnut toppings that they whip up fresh, right onto the doughnuts, right in front of you. Always better when you walk in and can get them fresh right from the fryer. The doughnuts are all a work of art and they have very creative flavor combinations which include "maple and bacon" (topped with real bacon), "Smores" and "Churro" doughnuts . . . and a bunch more. There is usually a line as they have quite the following and you can chose to eat in or take one or a dozen (or more), home with you. Although I have not had their coffee yet, the owner, who Ive come to talk to, told us how he sourced his coffee supplier and that he uses a very local coffee roaster . . . making it another good reason to patronize here as a local business is supporting a local business!

Just there today early this morning from Brooklyn 10/30/16; we heard from our friends and family who live out east about this donut shop called Doughology; my husband and I both agree that they deserve five stars for the following; 1st,we were greeted with warm and friendly smiles; 2nd, the young lady then went through an assortment of their donuts on their menu and telling us what their top sellers are; 3rd, was on us it was decision making time and its not easy because all their donuts look awesome, I had the maple bacon, smores and the peanut butter cup.... All three were delish!!!! O and their coffee will not disappoint it compliments their donuts..... You can tell that theses owners did their homework prior to opening this great Donut shop; they are like no other.... Definitely a custom / gourmet donut shop!!!! Plenty of seating very warm atmosphere...... Almost forgot they actually have their donut machine which is like a magic show....The batter drops in then fries the dough then flips to fry the other side and then out of the hot oil to kool..... Its really neat to watch !!!!! So go get your favorite fix on you will not be disappointed !!! Loreen & Greg DelPrete

Their customer service sucks! !! I live in Lynbrook and thats a business that I will never spent my money at. Took my kids in there on one occasion to try their product and was clearly deny service. I was at the front of the line after which three groups of people came in after me and was served before me. As they proceeded to serve the third person I asked one of the attendant behind the counter when was someone going to take my order and she proceeded to tell me that the line started where the couple who came in after me was standing. Mind you they were immediately to my right. I just think in todays day and age businesses especially NEW BUSINESS must pride themselves in serving customers in the correct way. Needless to say, we ended up walking out without making the purchase.

Went here for the first time last week and was very happy I did! First, they have a delicious menu of their own creations like peanut butter cup, smores, french toast... then you can also make your own donut which I love! You pick from a chocolate or vanilla doughnut and then you pick from their toppings bar and they will fill, frost and cover your doughnut in whatever you like. The doughnuts look beautiful, the toppings were delicious and they were not in the least bit oily (a problem I found with a different doughnut shop). They also stayed fresh and delicious for a few days after purchase. The ladies behind the counter were friendly & patient too.
