This is my main stop for groceries. Not a bad Stop & Shop; definitely one of the cleaner and well organized ones Ive been to. I do wish that they had a larger selection of freshly made food. They have a larger selection of cold "fresh" food than Big Y, but for warm food all they really have is roasted chicken (which is admittedly delicious and rather cheap at $5) as well as fried chicken, but the fried chicken isnt really enough to feed a family like youd expect.

I cant decide if this or the Shelton, CT location is the best of the worst. The variety of their inventory is good; however their produce isnt always the best quality, along with their meat...and oh, I almost forgot...theyre SO EXPENSIVE!!! Staff isnt always friendly...theyre usually doing you a favor by answering a question..so just skip this place all together I guess.

Incompetent bakery staff; unhelpful, and they dont know basic information about their stock. When I told the checkout girl that the bakery people told me a different price she actually *flounced* away like I had just told her she couldnt go to the movies with her friends.

Ive never had a problem with this location. In fact, its always as clean as they can reasonably make it, and things are hardly ever out of stock. The staff here if rather friendly as well... Except for the bakery section. They might be a little uptight.

The store and location is great if you know where things are already and the products are good , but dont expect any of the staff to go out of there way to help you .
