I went into your Westminster CO store on 104th and I was warmly greeted by John. It is nearly unheard of to have such a friendly welcome. He did extensive research to understand what my feet were doing and explained how that affected the pain I was having with my new workout routine. Although I am clueless about all this stuff, and newer to working out, he was very kind and understanding, and never made me feel like an idiot or a noobie. He kindly molded some custom insoles for me and then grabbed a pair of the MOST comfortable socks i have ever worn for me to try with the shoes he hand picked. Talk about a complete solution! I have been in sales my whole life, and WOW....This was THE BEST buying experience I have ever had! Truthfully, it was recommended to me by my workout instructor to stop by since i was experiencing pain in my $20 K-Mart Shoes (Ive never bought high end tennis shoes) and I planned on getting all my measurements and then shopping around since a place that offers all of that science to learn about your feet, would not have reasonable prices on ANYTHING. I was wrong. Now I admit I dropped almost $250 in there but I saw the value in what I was getting. Really, the insoles....I would spend more than that on orthotics from my doc and WAY more on foot surgery when I wreck myself! I told him I needed to wait till payday (I really had like $100 in my account) but he mentioned using debit or credit, whichever works best for now...and that reminded me i had a credit card with me that is for emergencies only. This purchase just qualified as an emergency. I even got a foam roller from you while I was there. Oh by the way...I had my 18 month old with me and he was so sweet to him and it could have been much harder! Well, My health has become a priority to me and I am willing to invest in it now, and thats why I went to my workout this morning and had the most comfortable shoes of my life. I am also that buyers remorse person...but not today....I just cant tell you how thrilled I was by my purchase and my service From John!

WARNING! A VIP REWARDS membership card will cost you $45 a year! Its not really a rewards card. Road Runner will annually charge your credit card $45 for the luxury of spending your money. I went in this store ONE time in my life in September 2016. Reward cards, like King Soopers, should be free. Apparently not with Road Runner! IF...and thats if...we did get a rewards card in September 2016, it wasnt explained or made transparent Road Runner would charge a REOCCURRING $45 annual fee without my permission to my credit card 8 months later, May 2017! It may be presented to you as a rewards cards, as in points accumulated for spending money like many grocery, gas & department stores give you for FREE, but it is actually a VIP membership for $45 a year (not a reward). This seems like a sneaky way to basically fraud people out of $45 by pretending they are giving you a rewards card to use for points with purchases, however it isnt a reward card but a CHARGE to be a VIP member. After happening to notice they snuck this charge in 8 months later, I called to cancel and asked for a refund. However I would have otherwise been billed $45 annually for the rest of my life had I not noticed this charge! If you are offered a rewards card w 10% off, and your purchase is well over $450, you could potentially save a few bucks. However, please know that they dont inform you its a REOCCURRING CHARGE to your credit card of a $45 annual fee, regardless if you ever go back again or not, FOREVER. I wonder how much money they profit from duping people into this scam who dont notice a reoccurring charge on their credit card? They conveniently dont mention its a reoccurring annual fee under the disguise of offering you a "savings reward" at time of purchase. What a SCAM!

Ive been buying sneakers from their mail order catalog for years, so I was very excited to see they had a location in Colorado. Unfortunately my experience there has resulted in never doing business with their company again. I went on a Sunday afternoon to buy a pair of shoes. Drove up to no-mans-land from Denver. They only had one person fitting people (despite what I estimated to be an equal number of employees to customers) and an HOUR wait... to buy a pair of shoes... on a weekend. Im sorry but that is unacceptable. It got worse when I asked the person taking names if I could just talk to someone. I told him I usually buy my shoes online but the shoe I’ve been buying for years has been discontinued. His exact response was, “You can pick out a pair based on what color you like, but we wouldn’t be able to put our fit guarantee on it.” REALLY? He honestly couldn’t have been more condescending if he had handed me a coloring book for my wait. I went there to spend money and was told I wasnt allowed to unless I waited an hour. So $100+ walked out the door. Something tells me they wont be around long if that is how they manage their store. Also, it is worth noting that Road Runner Sports offers the same fit guarantee for phone orders, so their in-person fitting process cant be that important.

They are a store for upper middle class people who like to dress up in running gear and maybe for serious runners who go through a lot of shoes. Their shoe dog thing is a total gimmick but good for a lot of people who have never had their foot measured by anyone who has any idea how. A great great deal of people think they know their shoe size and really dont and ya it does matter the question is do your feet hurt? Cause that might really be it as silly as it is. They will get you to sign up for 25 dollars a year and it will renew FOREVER unless you call their specific membership cancellation hotline. Arent you glad you dont have that job? (Bottom line) The majority of of their appeal is to people who dont truly need their runner specific gear and that is probably you. So consider them optional and maybe return a few pairs of shoes they would do they same to you. PS I forgot to mention that no shoe in their store comes for less than 70 and their are precious few of those. I dont compromise on my foot wear its important. Currently though that means I wear Feyiue which are about 33 dollars a pair off ebay and better than anything they have in their store ... at least for someone who has long since graduated from needing arch support. OMG no you dont need that btw. @_@ Lol

This business is the one you want to go to, if you want a shoe that will address foot issues and concerns. They have you walk and run on a treadmill and find out what you need the shoe for (cross training, running, walking, etc.) All of this for them to find the shoe that best fits your needs. This takes about 30 minutes... The VIP program is an annual fee; however, you get a discount off your first pair, that more than pays for the fee. Then when you buy subsequent shoes, you get a discount on those, too. You also have 30 days, wearing the shoe...if you dont like them, you are able to take them back. Listen, like the old adage goes...you pay for what you get. I would much rather pay $20-40 more than the nicest shoe at department stores, where you only pull the shoes off the shelf and hope for the best later. These shoes are not available at Payless like someone said...this service, the shoes and their guarantee are for someone who knows the importance of good fit. Im not an employee, Im a satisfied customer.
