To whom it concerns: 9-10 times there is a problem with the pharmacy people! From rude attitudes to eye rolling to telling you there is no order for your prescription in the system, when after a long enough period of time 2, or 3 and sometimes a 4th person looks at the computer screen and magic there you are. When hiring these people we should make sure they can read! I have been told after a 30 minute wait in line one day that my prescription was not ready and that I should go get at the end of the line and keep waiting. Approximately another 20min have gone by and they told me sorry not ready go to the end of the line again. When I asked why I cant just wait at the counter and off to the side, I was told thats not fair to the rest of the customers, and if I want my prescription filled I can go to the back of the line. I really needed my meds so I but up with this crap. Approximately 35 min later I got to the front of the the line again, and they actually had my prescription ready!!! Unbelievable how long this all took, the attitudes I was receiving (and Im sure by now Im not very pleasant myself). I have just had the final straw with Safeway and the Safeway pharmacy and staff. There was one trip they told me to wait in there waiting room area, (as they were observant enough to realize I was using a Cain to walk with, just had back surgery recently), so I thought well how nice a place to sit they recognized my need, so I went into the waiting room area and had a seat. The individual assisting me said when your prescription is filled and ready we will come get you. I said ok thank you! After 45 min I thought this is taking for ever, no one else is waiting around, I wonder what is going on? So I got up and asked the pharmaceutical tech that had been assisting me, how much longer? He replied what do you mean? I said you told me to wait in this room and you would come and get me when my prescription was ready. ( You could just see the wheels turning, he had know idea what I was speaking of, then the ahha moment set in). O, my gosh I totally forgot about you sitting in here waiting. Your prescription was filled like 30min ago! This all to me seems a little crazy, unprofessional, appalling! More so that Ive continued going and using this pharmacy. But not any more! I will always give people, businesses second or 3rd chances, but this place, way to many chances have already been given. Maybe its my fault for not saying something or complaing right away. My wife and I just arent those people, we dont like to complain or get people in trouble. After all everyone can have a bad day. But at this point in time and with almost every visit there is some sort of issue, I felt its time to say something and let my voice be heard! I will now take my pharmaceutical needs to Walgreens just down the road!!! My hopes in this review is that something will change in there costumer service at safeway, and how they treat people!!!☺ Sincerely, Erik

So my son and I went to buy a couple steaks and proceeded to the meat counter and noticed the tenderloins at 21.99 lb. WOW! So we walked over to the cooler and Picked out a couple of top loin sirloins. We decided to stop at the meat counter and I asked why the tenderloins are so much, I told him back in the Chicago area we could purchase tenderloins for around 11.99lb (choice) so the meat guy "Ed" says to me that those steaks must be fake! I said no they are not! He starts telling me in a very obnoxious voice how safeway only offers "prime" and they cut their steaks in house. I then told him I had a Prime Rib cut at King Sooper over Christmas. Then he contradicts me by saying "thats not a prime rib, its a standing rib roast" he very rudely argues that its not a prime rib if the cut is not "prime" what an ass! They are still called Prime Ribs, even if it is a "choice" cut!!! He then walks in behind the counter and says "WOW" very loudly. The sirloins were tough and I wont be going there again!! SafeWay needs to get rid of Mr. ED, or send him to etiquette school! No one should be spoken to in this pompous manner. I have been shopping at Safeway on and off for about 11 years. I have become a dedicated Safeway shopper for three months. I will shop nowhere else. The employees are always friendly, polite and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile. If they no longer carry an item they will show you what they have and if that is not satisfactory, they will find who has it and tell you. They will tell you which of their competitors has it. To me, that speaks volumes. To me, that is customer service beyond compare. The stores are always clean. I have shopped at many Safeways and this is true across the board. By using their website to download coupons onto my card and checking their in store sales I save so much money. They even have a way to create and download a shopping list with your selected items so you never forget an item. They have a customer for life.

My family absolutely loves our shopping trips to the Parker Safeway! The recent renovations and increased natural / gourmet grocery selections throughout the store have been a welcome change. Double coupons and the Just 4 U program are always saving us money, and seasonal reward games like Monopoly are really fun to play! Were on a first-name basis with most of the regular employees in every department and its always nice to be recognized and appreciated. Granted were not flustered and in a hurry to get in and get out, but those of you who have recently relocated to Parker and have issues with your Safeway shopping experience - heres some advice... slow down and be nice. Parker was a lot less crazy before you came here.

Misty at Customer Service is the best, Dave, Cindy are also so wonderful new Manager Matt has been a little rude a couple times. They dont carry as much organics as I like , Can be very pricy meat is way overpriced most of the time. Dig for the bargains. New bakery employees dont pull expired goods and the bagels have been hard and not as good as before the filled donuts have also been very hard mostly the rasherry ones . They have some great people working there there are a couple though that are not real nice. All and all I go there for my favorite cashiers which are Cindy, Dave and Lisa they make that store great.

I love this Safeway in Parker. I quit going to King Soopers over 4 years ago because of large employee turnover and not very friendly employees willing to help you locate anything and most of the time they didnt know where item was anyway! Safeway has phenomenal employees who are always friendly and willing to walk you to items to show you right where they are. Also, always willing to help in whatever way necessary and I just cant imagine going to any other grocery store or pharmacy for the rest of my life! Thank you to all employees and keep up the good work in making a store feel like a home away from home!
