I ordered a boat battery from the web-site, drawn by the advertising of "free delivery." When I placed my order, there was no delivery option, it simply charged my credit card and told me which store I could come to pick up my battery. I figured it was probably my mistake, so I just went to the store, but I had noticed on the web site that with a code they give you, I could get 10% off if I ordered on-line and picked up in the store. Since thats what I was doing, kind of against my will, I figured I should at least get the discount, so I printed off the code and took it to the store. Turns out, there was no delivery at all and I could have picked up the battery in stock at any store. The person at the store said he had never heard of a battery being delivered and that, because the web-site already charged my credit card, I could not use the 10% discount. Impressive collection of batteries. Poor customer service.

My almost 2 year old daughter, while trying to be helpful and bring me my phone, dropped it. The screen shattered at the top and there were a few dead spots on the screen (quite large dead spots). I had to put press-and-seal wrap to prevent my ear from getting cuts while chatting to people on the phone. After awhile, the dead spots shrank and I decided to replace the screen instead of waiting for the time too get a new one through me phone company. They fixed it and when I got it home, notices that the LCD was damaged on the bottom half. I took it in and they repaired it for free!! I was always so impressed with their ability to help when the unexpected happens. (Turns out the screen was damaged before they put it on, maybe in shipment to them, and they replaced it for me for free). So great, and I just drop it off before work and pick it up after my shift.. no time to miss my phone!

Buyer beware that they will not take returns on halogen bulbs. The manager told me when I replace the bulb to use a cloth as skin oil creates hot spots on the bulb. I did this. However the bulb that I purchased that the manager told me would fit and was the same as the bulb I brought in to match, would not fit. When I went to return it I was told SORRY, we wont return it. The reason I went here was for their expertise and I did not find this in this particular manager nor in their return policy that I was not told beforehand. So, I have $16 of bulbs that are not useable for my needs. Ugh! I will not be returning.

Not worth the trouble or ordering online. Had to wait in line while the one employee dealt with other customers. Then had to produce ID and credit card to pick up my battery, which is one more than I would have had to produce if I just walked in. Then noticed that the employee failed (?) to give me the core rebate so had to repeat the process. I probably wont return to the store, but if I do I wont bother ordering in advance. Its a waste of time.

The B+Bs website is so easy to use. Found the car batteries that I needed, verified that the closest store had them, ordered them on-line, got 10% off and went to pick them up. No hassles and the salesperson (I think his name is Scott) helped load them into my car. Great experience and would recommend B+B to anyone and everyone.

Batteries Plus Bulbs was the only local store that carried CR1632 batteries for my cars "smart" key, and at a great price too. I placed the order online and it was waiting for me when I arrived. While there, I was greatly impressed by the vast variety of batteries (and bulbs). I will be a regular customer from now on.
