Entering into the Loveland Kmart is akin to stepping twenty years back into the past. Aside from the inflated prices, one could easily imagine that they are revisiting 1986, and may wonder if they will collide with a long deceased neighbor or relative also meandering through the aisles in search of some vividly colored, over priced wares... in search of some relic of a product, perhaps a 12 pack of "New Coke" recently advertised by Max Hedroom, or maybe just good old fashioned Tab cola. The Kmart staff certainly only seeks to reinforce the sense that one has migrated to some point in the dissipated past. They embody the appearance of a people trapped ambiguously in the past, as though time has somehow immobilized them, enslaving them to permanently work in the employ of this memory of a place. If visited on a weekday afternoon, the nearly vacant bowels of the echoing department store allow for the relative ease of movement (unlike some other stores that spring to mind). It is quite a luxury to meander the aisles and "go your own pace" without the sense of being rushed and blinded by the lights and subliminal marketing schemes of other more populated stores. I dont mind the occasional walk down the halls of yesteryear, but do find myself feeling haunted by the whispering ghosts of consumers past....

Cant come up with very many legitimate reasons one would choose to go to Kmart nowadays over the selection of superior stores within spitting distance. Basically no refrigerated grocery section, usually consists of one or two - 2 door coolers with inventory only sparsely filled and what is in there is double the price elsewhere. Most of the other sections in the store comprise of 1-2 small isles worth of products. Not an impressive selection, many of the goods can be easily purchased elsewhere of better quality and/or for less. Layaway used to be the big pull back when they were more popular, or at least that was the case around my hometown in Nebraska many moons ago. Definitely not many of these still around now days. Mostly only good for nostalgic kicks, but who knows, maybe your favorite nightgown will go on bluelight special

Great service and prices are fair not a whole lot of selection anymore. I do a lot of shopping online and with the Kmart and Sears app and pickup in store and have never had a problem. Plus I love the shop your way rewards program. It is just sad to see Kmart and Sears failing I remember as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s this store was hopping. But as of now this store is on the wrong side of town I feel if it was 5 miles more to the east it would be a hopping again maybe. I try to shop Kmart first and if I cant find it Walmart is usually my last resort. Hang in there Kmart.

The entire store is having a major sale. Most items are 70%. Right now is a great time to buy here. The service is good and the people are helpful. Navigating through the store is easy. Lots of visibility and easy top read signage. Today i saved 600.00 on jewelry along. The building structure is old and looks a bit dilapidated but it is clean and organised inside of it. Although parking is free, the lot needs maintenance. lots of deep pothole. One caused me flat tire. However, the amount of money i saved made the trip worth it. In fact, i will visit the store again.

Love K Mart I wish Wal-mart didnt run them out of business. I worked at K-mart great company. My boyfriend worked for Wal-mart not only are the horrible to shop at but they treat their employees horribly as well. More people need to take a stand against Wal-Mart before they monopolize the industry even more and its the only place we have to shop. Bring K Mart Back!

They have cleaned up the appearance of this store since Sears has taken over. They brought in some things from Sears, but are consistently the highest price around. I never find what I need for a quick stop for a common item. Anything I comparatively shop is always the highest price for that item. Even though this is close to home I dont shop here anymore.

A general store that provides many basic needs. Pros: ~Offers a variety of necessities ~Store is clean Cons: ~Some items are commonly out of stock ~Prices can be more expensive than other department stores ~There are not many sales associates around to get help from Overall, If you need to get something basic quick, why not take a stop here?

I always forget about Kmart... but sometimes they have stuff I cant find elsewhere. Prices are always good. The non-register staff always look-alike it just came back from a flogging though, and their perma-frown brings the vibe down. The people at the register however are always friendly and helpful - probably just grateful for a sale.

It is very nice to have a department store in town and they have good prices on what they sell. I shop here pretty often and my only complaint is that sometimes they dont have to best selection so your choices may be a bit limited. Still its an excellent store and having a department store on the west side of town is very convenient.

I have been coming here for years. I like this store its close to home and I dont have to drive across town. The employees have always been friendly to me there have been a few exceptions over the years but the main staff is very friendly.

Nice store, this place has a lot of sales so if youre looking for somewhere to go other than Walmart. Not the best selection but the sales make up for it. Store was clean and tidy employees were nice.

Great sales, but only because they have been "Going out of business" for years. the store is in disrepair (as in the tiles, registers ect.) And nothing really has a place.
