Weve purchased several things at the Fitestone American Furniture solely on the fact that it is very close to our house. Its mediocre furniture for a fair price so its an easy go to. The sales people, when you can find one, are usually pretty good (though not always knowledgable). About six months ago we purchased a pull out sofa and matching love seat. When we got them home. They both had oil stains on them and one was ripped. That was repaired and the "crisis" was averted. However, not long after, we noticed the left arm of both the sofa and love seat were basically down to the wood. And the cushions of the pull out sofa were too small. We didnt do anything about it because we just chalked it up to poorly made furniture that we had to live with. We went shopping for another set and mentioned our situation to the sales person. She said we should call the customer service number and get it fixed under warranty. So we called. A few days later, a technician, Bob, came out. He quickly saw the problems and offered a solution. However, the customer service department wasnt having it. What an awful group of people. I spoke with two different employees, who clearly went through the same training. Talk over the customer and keep repeating the same phrase over and over with no sign of intelligence. That must be how they are trained. "Siri" (if thats her real name), one of the managers, was a joke of a manager. She was uninformed and flat out lied to me about signs that were posted throughout the store. She refused to help, in any way, and just tried double talk and talking over me. "Customer service" is the wrong name for that place. In a world where everything is available to us no matter where we are, via the Internet, youd think businesses would want to have repeat customers. I guess Jake Jabs and his employees dont care about that. Sure, theyre not going to go broke without my business, theyll be fine without me. But Im hoping this review will catch the eye of someone else and prevent them from the same faulty furniture and HORRENDOUS customer service. I guess I just hoped that when a furniture store, which pretends to pride itself on "American" ideals, would actually do the right thing, when they sell faulty furniture, make it right!

If I could give zero stars I would. We spent a good amount of money at this store. We purchased a large leather couch with all of the gadgets. Electric recliner, massaging seats, Reading lights, and pull out cup holders were all on this couch. It is a beautiful color and has everything I would ever want on a couch. It has been exchanged 3 separate times in 5 months. Electrical issues, mechanical issues, Broken parts, and the entire wrong parts are reasons it was exchanged. Now At my job I work a lot. I have 11-14 hour days so every time they need to exchange I have to take the time off work to be there for them. Now yesterday I get a letter in the mail that it has a recall. Im Done I give up. I dont want this magical couch. I call in and speak with customer service, Both Monica and her "supervisor" Elizabeth Laughed at me. and told me there was nothing they could do. I pushed and pushed until finally Elizabeth tells me there would be no problem exchanging it. I would just have to pay a 15% usage fee and pay to have them picked up and the new delivered. HA HA HA. We are getting ready to buy a new house that needs to be completely furnished and I will not step foot in American Furniture Warehouse again. I am severely disappointed in the Products and the Customer Service. This is a warning. Watch out for American Furniture Warehouse. They will sell you broken items that may catch your home on fire and they wont care one bit.

Purchased a new bedroom set for my new house, where I spent about 90 minutes or so with Sandy picking out furniture and getting her professional opinion with colors, sizes, decor, etc for how I wanted my room/ home to look (she did a fantastic job btw- Im in sales and she was such a delight to spend time picking out furniture with), and so I also mentioned I wanted to get a firepit with a lid (for when it rains/snows outside) for the summer time. Also worked with the best customer relations rep I have EVER seen in my life. LaVina (Im so sorry if I spelled your name wrong) turned a pretty rocky situation I had with getting part of my furniture into a absolutely fantastic experience- and retained a customer. She had contacted me about a issue I had, she was very genuine, sincere, and made me feel like I was her top priority! She had gone well above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and within 2 hours (we thought it might take a day or two), she had definetly come through and resolved my situation. Talk about under promise and over deliver! If there is an "employee of the month"- she absolutely deserves it!!! (And a promotion to take over customer service). It turned my whole experience a complete 180 degrees thanks to her! Thank you again LaVina!

AFW Customer Service My review is based on my ongoing dilemma with their customer service department. We had furniture delivered on the 4th and the scratched our brand new floors. We promptly contacted the customer service department filed a claim and emailed pictures. No follow up call from them so I called on the 10th, they said Dale would call me back the next day...no call. I called back on the 13th and they said someone would call me back within a week...NO CALL. So waited, and waited until the 24th (today) and called back AGAIN, and now Salvador employee number 018649 (who says he is a manager) tells me that the claim was submitted today (after he put me on hold for 5 min) and I would have to WAIT ANOTHER 10-14 business days for a response. I cannot believe this...so I asked for the manager of that department and he tells me that does NOT take calls from customers and will not call customers back? Now, Salvador proceeds to tell me that it takes so long because they have other customer claims to process. I know Jake Jabs is a respected business owner in our community but he needs to know how his customers are being treated.

I went for my first time ever the other day. I went in looking for a king sized bed and wanted to stay under 1000$ for the frame and mattresses. The selection is amazing, there was a variety in all sizes of frames and mattresses as well. The bed i chose was over budget and rather large, paired with a new mattress set and beautiful area rug- i spent about 1900$ (900 over budget) . The delivery was scheduled for today, the drivers/movers were amazing! There was a concern about if it was goinf to fit or not but they worked hard and made it fit in the best way possible. As much as i didnt want to go over budget- i have no regrets! I am so incredibly pleased with the entire experience and love my new bed. In the future i will be doing all my furniture shopping here. The ONLY not so positive thing i would say is pricing, i wish there were better deals on pricing for people who are really strapped for cash.
