This company continues to let me down! Over the years Ive bought a few pieces (a desk and a kitchen table). After buying a new home earlier this year, I started to get emails for promotions constantly. So every now and again Id attempt and redeem a coupon code and they would always fail! Even after reading fine print (which varies for each thing (sometimes they will exclude furniture, not sale items, or include furniture but exclude something else, etc.))! A few months back, I emailed corporate sales/help, after it happened and they even sent me a email basically say, "Sorry our promos say x% off everything. But we dont really mean it - no we wont honor the sales were advertising." And they suggested I read fine print (which I DO, and had done considering the issues Id had!). Though honestly they didnt address my really question, which was why doesnt this promo code work, they just glossed over it completely. On a different occasion I got hopeful again, only to be disappointed (again) so that time I decided to call and the rep over the phone wanted my credit card number before shed given me the total due. Which, is absolutely wrong. Their product, in my experience, has been of fairly good quality, but you defiantly pay for it (and maybe a little too much), and the company doesnt seem to give a damn whether you have an issue or concern. Sadly, I get the impression that business is so good they dont have to care about repeat customers.

I had a great experience with ordering 7 pieces of office furniture. Cathy was able to help me avoid delivery delay due to an online September availability of one of the connecting desk pieces. She reached out to the Flat Irons store and I was able to get the missing piece I needed. I am glad that I opted to work with this store versus trying to order everything online, the assistance I received was invaluable. The delivery went smoothly and I was able to choose a day that was convenient for me. I understand that Pottery Barn within the last few months have stopped contracting out their white glove delivery services and brought it back in-house. The two gentleman who delivered the furniture were very professional and took care not to damage the new furniture or my homes surroundings.

They have great furniture in the store -- no doubt. But if you purchase something from Pottery Barn Kids, then make sure you take it home that day. We ordered a rocking chair in early May for the pending arrival of our new baby. Since then, we have had the baby, bought a house, and still never received the rocking chair. The delivery of the chair has extended well beyond the window they provided and no one at the store or through customer service knows where the chair could be. I have ordered custom Amish furniture before that arrived in a more timely manner -- and they dont even use power tools or automobiles.

I agree with, "Make sure you take it home that day!" Not just from Pottery Barn for kids, Pottery Barn too. I bought 2 big items and had to wait for bits and pieces for more than 2 months after purchase when they quoted a much sooner date. I ordered curtains and received pillow shams instead. I just received a purchased part for the rod in the mail last week. Still no curtains. The same thing happened when we ordered a carpet last year. They couldnt find it nor tell us when it would arrive. They gave us an arrival date the day we ordered it. I am not waiting for strike 3.

I usually love the furniture at Pottery Barn. Having said that....the customer service is AWFUL. They are curt, patronizing and just plain rude. Basically, this particular store is a total nightmare to deal with if you have any questions regarding purchasing, shipping, payment or delivery. I honestly dont know if it is just the Park Meadows location. I would definitely be a little leery about ordering from them. This is the first negative review I have ever written, but definitely not impressed.

I went to the store to return a gift, and employee Susie helped me with the return. There was some complication with the refund due to the way the gift was ordered. Susie took the time to call corporate and get things figured out, sand called as ;promised the next day to confirm the refund was sent. It arrived today. In a day and age when its seemingly more rare, it was a pleasure to work with Susie and experience kind, friendly, efficient, and thorough customer service. THANK YOU!
