I had to get my own flowers! and that wasnt all that went wrong. :( This is the only vendor receiving poor ratings from me. My husbands father passed away a year before the wedding. His fathers favorite flowers were lilacs. We wanted lilacs at the alter to symbolize his father instead of a sad empty chair. This was my husbands only request. I would have been fine if Andrea told us that there was a chance she couldnt get them and that she would try her best, but she bragged about how she would get our lilacs if it meant she order them from Canada or drive up to Breckenridge to cut them herself. I checked with her two weeks before the wedding and she said she would have them. My coordinator called her a week before the wedding and she said everything was fine. TWO DAYS before the wedding she calls me at work and tells me she cant get the lilacs and that she even went "all the way up to Black Hawk" - nowhere near Breckenridge - and there were none there. She then suggested we use wither a butterfly bush or a fake flower! Any other flower I would have told her that was fine, but not that one. It meant too much for my husband. My family and I looked for lilacs on our own. Guess where we found them? Black Hawk. Right where she said they wouldt be. I expressed that her last minute warning stressed me out and Andrea proceeded to argue with me that it was illegal to "pluck them out of the wilderness or take them from peoples yards" All I did was knock on someones door and got their permission to cut a couple stalks from their yard. Nothing illegal about that. We discussed all of my wedding colors to be on the cake. She stuck with only one color. We discussed a very small boutonniere for my ring bearer since he was so small, and she got him a flower almost as big as he was. I showed her a picture of the size of arrangements I wanted, and she provided us with arrangements half that size, and they were mostly filled with cheap mums. This was a spring wedding. Not only that but they didnt include all of the flowers we discussed. To top it off, in APRIL I called her multiple times over several days to schedule our final meeting, and nobody picked up the phone in her shop. She claims that there is always someone there and that someone should have picked up the phone" When I finally got ahold of her I asked when she was available and using the dates she gave me, I scheduled our final meeting to be at the beginning of JUNE. I got a call THREE DAYS before our scheduled date from her assistant who said we would have to reschedule because Andrea was on vacation! Her assistant also said we didnt need to meet with her after our initial meeting (we had vases to give her as well as details she was unaware of) She then insisted on only two days to meet with Andrea and didnt even consider that my mom and I couldnt just take off from work when we felt like it for Andreas schedule.

We randomly stopped in Natures Palate while driving around to talk to florists. Im so glad we did. Andrea runs this shop and she is very nice. We didnt have a wedding consultation and she still squeezed us in right as she was walking out the door! I dont know much about flowers, and she was able to suggest some great solutions with our color scheme (purple and berry). Her quote came a little bit late as she was backed up on paperwork, and she personally called me and apologized for the lateness and promised me it would be sent to my email later that day, which it was. Her prices were several hundred dollars less than other shops I had stopped at! Our flower package included a traditional brides bouquet, smaller bouquets for 7 bridesmaids, 13 boutonnieres (8 groomsmen, my groom, my father, grooms father, grooms grandfather, and officiant), 2 corsages for mothers, 2 large arrangements of greenery with flower accents for some pillars at our site, and rose petals for the tables. Our package was about only $775. ***DAY OF*** The flowers were there before the bridal party had even arrived which was just as planned. Everything looked amazing. My bouquet was white roses, wine-colored alstroemeria, and dark purple small calla lilies with greenery accents. My only problem was that the toss bouquet was somehow forgotten. As it was free of charge, I wasnt too concerned and just used one of my bridesmaids bouquets. That is the reason I gave Natures Palate 4 stars instead of 5. I should have checked when I arrived (which might have given them time to bring it!) but I wasnt really paying attention. **Overall, my experience was very good. Andrea is very friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable!

I went in for a consultation appointment in late April with them telling me I will receive an estimate within a few days, or a week at most. It took a follow up email from me and 2 phone calls in order to get a response to ask about my quote for my wedding in July. I was on the phone with Nicole, she told me shed get it sent to me that day, but several days passed before I received an email(May 30). I proceeded to open the email to discover there were not actual estimated numbers int he documents, except saying a deposit amount, so I had no idea what my dream wedding came out to. I responded the following day explaining the attachment didnt provide the information, and got no response. I followed up June 7th and still have not gotten any response from them. Clearly this is a company that did not want business because it was ridiculously poor communication, and as a potential client, it should not have been that difficult. When I reached out to other florist, they responded within hours, and took no longer than 2 days to get back to me. How can you trust this company to show up they day of your wedding with everything you want and paid for, when they cannot even respond to emails? I do not recommend them and will talk to my venue about the poor business, because they do not deserve to be on their preferred vendor list.

Recently discovered Petals (formerly Natures Palate) and ordered two Mothers Days bouquets for our family matriarchs. They both received their beautiful flowers today and both called me raving about how gorgeous they were...so fresh....colors so vibrant and overall spectacular. When I was ordering the flowers the florist educated me on what types of flowers were in season, when they would be their freshest, and walked me through the most popular within my budget. I love it when people love what they do, help the customer make good choices, and take pride in their work. It shows at this florist. This isnt just a regular florist either as its set up as a gift shop as well with lots of goodies to choose from when youre in a pinch for a gift. Highly recommend!

Howdy, I had a great experience with Petals Floral in helping us with our wedding day! My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and extremely large :) (fabulous!!!) All the flowers looked gorgeous! I had them decorate our Ceremony arch and provide garland crowns with a rose for our four flowers girls (they fit perfectly). I also rented the vases for the Reception and they were exactly how I imagined; they also provided boxes so that we could easily pack and return these items. I received so many compliments at the wedding!!! Their staff was very easy to work with and provided great suggestions to meet my requests within budget. I highly recommend Petals Floral! :) Happy wedding planning!
