When I recently googled Mickelson Jewelers to grab his phone number, I was disheartened to see one awful review on Google. Its crazy given how talented Mike is! I am reiterating my Yelp review here: Mike is a true artist, extremely knowledgable, and totally genuine. He worked with my fiance and I to custom design my engagement ring. He went out of his way to find a center stone of excellent quality for way cheaper than if we had purchased it ourselves from the internet. He is not a pushy salesman and only provides his honest professional suggestion. Do not be fooled by the understated vibe of his store (which I recently heard changed locations so perhaps the new place looks different) - the work he does is top-notch. As a classic old-school jeweler, he molded a replica of our design out of wax so that I could try it on and we could tweak the design before he built the real thing. His hours sometimes seem a little unorthodox, but its understandable given that hes truly a "one-man show" - Id advise customers to call ahead to make sure hes in. In the end, my ring was appraised for over $1K more than we paid for it. Its honestly shocking how many people go out of their way to comment on it. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Mickelson Jewelers. We are headed to him soon to design wedding bands!

My Omega Seamaster wristwatch came back with a mirror-polished clasp which used to have a brushed finish, a lightly polished bracelet which has reduced the contrast between the alternating pattern of brushed and polished links, caseback holes mangled from not having the proper tool to open the watch, a missing bezel spring thus allowing it to turn both ways instead of only one-way, and small marks on the minute and seconds hands.

Have been using him for 6 years now. He did a great job repairing my old Rolex watches, which were in horrible shape, now they look and work like new. He made two beautiful rings for my wife, she loves the last one, constantly hears compliments. I recommended him to my mother and my friends, and everyones happy with him.
