I made the mistake of wearing my wristwatch during a recent softball game, and broke the spring pin that holds the link and bracelet clasp together. No problem. Its an easy fix. I was planning to go to Park Meadows for some shopping, and took my watch along. Even though the reviews for Fast-Fix Watch Repair (on this site and others) are overwhelming bad, I stopped by to see what they would charge. The young lady behind the counter was very polite. She took my watch to the repairman (owner?) and came back with a quote. They wanted $20 to replace the pin. Now, I know how much those pins cost ($1 retail, pennies wholesale), and how much labor is required to replace it (about 10 seconds). I had a figure in mind already, and if she had quoted $5, I would have thought "thats outrageous, but fine, do it." When she quoted $20, I just thanked her and walked away. A few minutes later I walked into Helzberg Diamonds and explained my situation. The salesman took my watch and said "let me see if we have one that fits." He came back a few minutes later with a new pin installed and my watch ready to wear again. I asked him what I owed him, and he said "nothing, just come back and shop with us some day." Done. I understand that Fast-Fix has to make a buck, and they dont have the latitude to fix things for free in the interest of building customer goodwill, but, honestly, price gouging is just bad business.

Yesterday I brought my Luminox Seal Team watch into Fast-Fix because moisture got into the inner workings. I had been in a hot tub and the crown was not fully locked down. The Fast-Fix personnel were awesome about it and immediately took action to repair my watch. The jeweler asked the lady at the counter to give him the watch so he could open it up and start drying it out. My son and I were in awe that they got busy right then, and they were busy! I was three deep in line when I arrived. They assured me that they would completely check it out once they dried out the workings, and if it needed anything they would text me. They texted me this morning that my watch was ready. I thought that was fast - wonder what they found. I walked in and they handed me my watch and said those beautiful words -NO CHARGE! I asked if they were sure and they said yes because I had told them the truth about how the moisture got into my watch. Not only that, but they also put a new battery into it for me. They went above and beyond all my expectations and now have a loyal customer. I will be back any time I need service and I encourage you to bring your repairs to them as well. They rock! Thank you Fast-Fix Park Meadows!

Just bought a simple watch from a store in the mall and it was too long - so I needed to get 1 link removed. I went into the store and they said to remove the link, it would cost $16.50 (which is about how much the whole watch cost) and it would take 20min. After almost falling over from laughing, I left the store and walked 10ft to JC Pennys, went to their jewelry section and asked if they could help me. The woman immediately offered to help for no charge, and she was done in less than 5min. Its simple things like that which make it so if I ever have a real problem with one of my much more valuable watches in the future, I wont be bringing my business to this store. Clearly, they care more about squeezing money out of people than doing something extremely easy and fast....like removing 1 chain link out of a watch band.

Great place if you need a real fix. All these low star ratings are from people who needed pins replaced, bands adjusted, ect... if you need something that simple, do it yourself with a pushpin, or take it to Target/Walmart/whereever. If you a REAL problem, come here. I had a very old, antique Bulova that had an broken band- and the link broken was not one of the adjustable, removable links. Bulova didnt make that kind of band any more, so replacing it wasnt an option. The clasp was also broken. I owned it broken for 4 years, and everywhere I took it told me the only option was to replace the band with a modern one. They were able to fix it, for something like $35, in less than 2 days. Pretty incredible.

The customer service at Fast-Fix is beyond great. I service all my watches with them, and have had nothing but the best experiences. Last week, I brought in a childrens watch, knowing that the cost to repair it would exceed its original cost. The tech repaired the watch AND replaced the battery at no charge. I was so pleasantly surprised with this kind gesture, I was even lost for words. I just dont see this type of generosity with service companies anymore. Nice to know there is still some kindness in this world :)

Helpful, fast and friendly. My daughter had been carrying her favorite watch in her purse because she was missing a small buckle. We popped in to see if they could fix it and we felt valued from the moment we walked in the store. We were in and out in under 5 minutes and the repair was complementary. While it seems that many stores have moved away from valuing the customer; Fast-Fix is a gem! I have several pieces of jewelry in need of small repairs and I will definitely be back.

This the Park Meadows store.Took my watch in for a battery, bought a five warranty they replaced battery, Took it back battery went dead they said it was not the battery. They said was the movement $60 to fix. They called back said they could not fix I need to send to the manufacture. I took it to Littleton Watch Repair they put a new battery in it, it works great. They did not offer any kind of refund on my warranty.I would never recommend them poor management

I needed to have a simple pressure check done on my Tag Heuer, so I called Fast-Fix and they quoted me half an hour in time and $20--not bad. After driving 20 minutes to drop off my watch, I was then told that it would be $50 to pressure check my watch, which is more than double what I was quoted over the phone and just simply overpriced by any standards. Wont be going back and to anyone looking for watch repair, I highly recommend Nu-Way Watch Repair.

This place was bustling during the lunch hour, but they got everybody through in a very timely manner. My vintage Movado needed some cleaning, and some touch up on the gold plated band. They fixed the band when others could not. Also, David Little was a great help when it came to recasting my grandmothers rings into an exquisite engagement ring. He even helped me to track down a center stone! I will be back!

My Center stone on my wedding ring was loose and needed to be tightened. Bruce was very accommodating by allowing me to watch him repair my ring in front of me. He also looked over my entire ring giving me helpful information so I can avoid losing g any of my channel set diamonds in the future. I wood definitely consider using them in the future.
