This was definitely my last trip in this store. Their prices are the highest of the four major stores I shop at. I received a birthday coupon giving me a 50% discount on a purchase of my favorite spirit (up to $20). What they do is take off the "member price" and give you the discount off the "regular price!" The perfect "bait and switch." First of all, no one in their right mind would pay the regular price for their products. Their competition would crush them. Second, their member pricing is not that good. Also, the prices are confusing. I saw a bottle of Basil Hayden with three prices for the same size bottle ranging from $42 to $52, I bought the same bottle from a competitor for $29.99 a couple of weeks ago. I felt bad for the cashier. Hes the one who gets all the complaints from the customers. He referred me to some dumpy guy walking the aisles (most likely a manager of some sort) who confirmed that, just for today, I am not a member. I expressed my abhorrence to, what I perceived as, a deceptive way of getting me in the store. I dont understand how business owners like those at Incredible Wines and Spirits sleep at night. I am more amazed how people continue to shop there when there are several alternatives with much better pricing and customer service.

I am from out of state, and so my horrible experience may be different from others... Went in to purchase a new amber, and they had none that I had not tried already... Finally, after realizing that they didnt have more hiding anywhere, I picked my favorite (from their limited selection) and headed to the front. Providing my ID, I was told that they do not accept vertical IDs (which makes sense, EXCEPT that I AM over 21 and my ID was valid for another 4 years, as it is with all people from my home state...). The cashier refused to look at it, and stated that because it was from out of state it was even more in question. I pointed out that my license plates were also from the same state as my ID, and that I would be happy to wait while he got a manager but the cashier refused. Needless to say I will never be shopping here again (back home there are intelligent people), but I was so flustered by the attitude of the cashier that I wrote this review, to encourage you from never purchasing here as well. Certainly dont if you are visiting from another state as, evidently, that calls valid identification into question (and no, they wont scan the barcode or actually check to see if it is valid)...

I love this place and have been a loyal customer for over 2 years. I think what really impressed me the most is the night I went in and wanted to really splurge on something really good in the Merlot arena. The manager spent over 25 minutes with me and introduced me to Cafaro Merlot. Along with Chateau St Michelle Merlot, for the day to day, what he did was take what I LOVED about Cafaro and helped me find one that I could have as my Wine:30 choice. Now the one thing everyone should know is that they remembered me and they also remembered me as the Cafaro girl. When they moved to the new store, they stocked this for me so I could have some at Christmas. I dont spend a lot on Wine, but have been venturing into learning more and more about Merlots and this little palace is as close to Wine Heaven as I have ever been. The beat their neighbor at Quebec & Arapahoe by leaps and bounds. (I waited over 45 minutes for help and ended up leaving -- and then found this place). I cannot say enough about them, the management, the wine expertise and the cheery, wonderful way they make me feel. I will always stay loyal to this paradise -- because they DO IT RIGHT!!!

Money talks, so money walked. Ive been a shopper at Incredible since 2008, even predating their current location. I went in to buy a bottle of wine and found, what appeared to be an employees car in the lot with the pictured sticker. (The car also had a placard that plainly stated "I am an employee of Incredible, please dont tow my car." too) I walked back into the store after my purchase, told a cashier that I saw the car and the sticker. The cashier acknowledged that it was an employee, refunded my purchase, mentioned that I wasnt the first, and I removed myself from their customer database. I support free speech, and the employees right to express his or herself. A manager called, apologized, and said the employee had been reprimanded. I understand their decision, but I stick by mine.

This place has SERIOUSLY gone down hill since they moved from the Tech center. They used to have a tremendously great selection of import and domestic wines. Now, their selection of wine is not only very poor, but only carry the big commercial names, they are like the Walmart/Target of liquor stores. Their selection of Spanish wines are severely limited. Wines I used to by there, their so called wine expert had never heard of them. Australian wines only the very big names, no intermediate wineries. Their New Zealand wines are 15 years out of date to what is both popular and in trend, and their South African wines non existent. They used to be able to compete with the Argonaunt, and Apple jack wine and spirits, now they are no better than an over priced corner liquor store.

I had a good experience here a few months ago. One of the employees was particularly helpful and friendly. He talked me into buying a bottle of Laws whiskey instead of the Jim Beam I was holding and even though I spent a little extra on it, it was well worth the cost for the upgrade in quality. He also made a few beer recommendations that did not disappoint. I went back a few days ago and the staff seemed vacant and disinterested. When I was finally able to get someones attention, I asked about the employee who had helped me during my last visit only to find out hes been recently fired. What kind of a business fires the only guy who actually cares enough to help customers? "Incredible" Wine and Spirits? More like IncrediBULLshit.

If I need a liquor store close to my job, this is where I go! Definitely one of the top three liquor stores in Denver (yes, I said it). Their staff is knowledgeable, they are willing to help out at any time, the store is well organized (a little cramped, but I heard they are expanding), and most of all, their prices are GREAT. They have a loyalty program that pays off if you shop here consistently, the only bad thing is, if you purchase something that is on sale, you dont get your loyalty credits (which is weird) All of the above criteria meets my needs - oh yeah, liquor makes me happy! See you soon Incredible Wine and Spirits!

This place was really great, and I was excited when they expanded. However, I have noticed that their selection wildly fluctuates and sometimes they hardly have anything on the shelves. Their prices are usually pretty fair (however, I feel like certain spirits have increased unnecessarily). Place is always clean, bright, and easy to navigate. Staff is always helpful and friendly, too. Unfortunately, I feel like nowadays its just a mixed bag in terms of whether or not theyll actually have a normal amount of whiskey or beer to choose from when you walk in. Not sure about the financials of this place.
