If you are thinking of shopping here, dont. Their return policy includes rude attitude, stares, and anger. If you happen to find something better or dont like what you purchased, you will be greeted with stern coldness. It really makes it hard to walk back in the place after theyve acted like youre an inferior parasite who picks stuff just to return it. Most of the stuff they sell is good, but they arent dealing some of the best stuff that can be bought. They will take it as a huge slight if you return something, like you hate them or something or your just a wet rat who came in out of the cold off the street with a few dollars in hand, fooled them into selling you something, just so you could come back before the months up to rue in their foolishness. Hell, I HATE returning things, its annoying, but in hifi you spend so much money that if it doesnt sound right, or theres something you find out about later that annihilates what you bought, you have to go for it. I mean, what am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to take the hit for the team (poor, poor Colorado economy) so they can feel satisfied? I should just let the warranty run out, even if I find something better or learn that what I bought isnt really that highly regarded? No! The product I bought turned out to be INFERIOR. I listened to it, tried it out, thought about it, chewed on it, and realized I could do better. I wanted to like it but in the end the shop had been dealt an inferior product by the dealer. I guess I cant blame them for feeling mad, because they only have their few companies who deal to them, but boy did they pick a few of the wrong ones. Why is it no hifi shop in the state deals Rega? How about Hifiman? I cant help it if these products are destroying in the marketplace with quality and accuracy, and listenups products are not. In fact Id love to just order from them off the internet, but they cant do that! Im a discerning customer who wont be limited by what my shop sells, sorry. Its a big, wide world out there and Im going to listen to the best stuff. peace

Im pretty passionate about music and while I had a fun time at this location (as they have a fairly decent lineup), I found the service disappointingly lacking. I had two employees say they would come back and check up on me in various parts of the store, just to disappear and never show up again, leaving me listening to skipping audio or only one of a dozen speaker setups. Before I left, I walked through the entire store to try and find one of the three representatives that had offered help before, but they were nowhere to be found. I walked out without anyone noticing or caring. In short, you probably wont get that great of service unless they size you up as willing to buy something that day. Guess thats something that comes with the commission territory, but disappointing nonetheless. Also, they dont seem to carry any of the Sennheiser or Grado open back cans, so dont plan on trying/buying them here.

Nicely setup store with many sound rooms for visualizing and listening the latest high-end a-v compenents. Unfortunately you need to be able to spend quite a bit of money before the sales people take an interest in helping you out. For home audio, this store primarily carries specifically B&W speakers, Rotel receivers and amps. They do carry other lines, but were reluctant to offer those to me or to price other options for my home theater system. If youre looking for a full custom setup with uncompromising taste, then this place should be on your places to stop. If youre like me, not looking to spend several gs, but would like a nice system, this store is almost useful. Lots of great things to listen to and look at, but when it comes to price expect to pay the snobbish salespersons overhead.

Once again Scott Genaw and Listen up steered me in the right direction for our AV needs. I described our home (a true adobe with a very large great room what we wanted and our budget. Scott led us to our new 70" Sony TV and suggested we keep with the Sonos= system (we currently have two others from Scott and Listen up). OF course, he suggested upgrading from a sound bar by adding a subwoofer and two One speakers. It simply makes the system fantastic. I cannot imagine that we could get any closer to a theatre experience in our home than this..... and the music - simply fantastic. Thanks again Scott and ListenUp for helping us with our AV needs.

My experience started on email, which was replied to promptly By Scott, and he was extremely helpful and attentive in our conversations, which culminated in a visit to the store when I had time. Even though Scott wasnt in the day I had to visit, Jerry was there to answer all my questions and follow through with the sale. When I picked up my electronics, Scott was there to meet and greet and follow up with all the particulars of the sale and advising on ways to derive the most from the product. I was extremely impressed with all the staff and their service. I highly recommend Listen Up.

Ive been a Listen Up customer for close to 20 years, now on my third salesman as they move on or move up. The practical technical knowledge of the staff is top notch, and their ability to steer me toward the right solution for my needs is always appreciated. Salesmen are purely commission, which I find that I prefer. My experience with their service has been satisfying before, and more importantly after, the sale. Their interest seems to be keeping you as a lifelong customer, as opposed to the high school kid selling at a big-box store.

Its always great to work with a group that really knows what its doing, especially in the finicky area of home electronics. Listen Up is that kind of organization. I had a component failure on the Samsung HD Smart TV that Listen Up installed about 5 years ago. Listen Ups certified Samsung Technician "Hank" was a pleasure to work. Almost immediately he diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. When the part came in he return, installed it quickly and the issue was resolved. Cant ask for more than that from a service department.

Its refreshing to have found a store that employs professional sales consultants who have a depth of knowledge about high end audio in general and their specific products in particular. In my experience, this expertise comes with a premium price tag. To my surprise, I found the prices at Listen Up competitive. I recommend Listen Up for the music lover who is just entering into the world of quality sound reproduction and the seasoned veteran audiophile who is looking to expand or improve his or her system.

Lived across the street in college and would go in all the time and listen to stuff I couldnt afford. Still go in all the time. Sales people are friendly and helpful (no pressure). Ive spent hours A/Bing stuff in there differnt listening rooms. They have a large varity of equipment from entry-level to super high-end. They let me listen to the $20k stuff when I asked nicely. Audio is about informing yourself what sounds good to you. If youre curious about audio, this is a great place to go.
