Again... very disappointed... I have the recorded call I made to you... I never complained to you on the message... I was upset that I was hit by a car in front of your store... Again... I will use another rental place in the future... better yet I will buy my equipment from a store that spends energy on making a situation right not the customer wrong... you treated my daughter and son poorly when they came into the store. My son advise you that he was a right foot not left. He was very clear about that and the first thing he did was spend 2 hours getting board corrected at Winter Park. The train arrived in Denver late which made all our other plans... ie being in Denver at night and not getting home til late. You can be right all you want... but remember you are the one missing out on thousands of dollars in equipment that we are going to purchase so we never have to deal with this again. So you will get your rental funds... but not my future business... not a referral... and not a a customer who wanted to buy equipment. Good luck with your business... I hope you get everything you want... I was really disappointed with my boots. We tried to return our rental and they were close. There was no place to return after hours. My son had requested that the snow board be done for right ride and the board was done for a left. Thank goodness Winter Park corrected the issue with no charge. I dont understand why my sons snow board would be done incorrectly when he was in the shop and fitted for a boot. I came and picked up the gear later. It took 2 hours out of his riding which he just said "well guess I just need to buy my own gear so I dons have this issue again" So I felt the same way... well just buy your own boots and dont worry about have rental issues in the future. So I am already to by ski gear from you folks then I am told that I need to pay for an additional day of rental. Ok... well guess I wont be buying my gear from you folks. So our train broken down... my boots were so tight that I could not ski with them clamped down... my son lost 2 hours of boarding... good times. Ive been skiing in Colorado for over 40yrs and never had a ski rental place charge me a late fee... Back to Breeze Ski Rental I go... so much for shopping local... thought it was a good idea.

I have never written a negative review about a company but after the service/attitude I received today from who I believe to be the owner of the shop I felt compelled to write one so people will avoid this store. I rented 2 pairs of skis from Castle Rock Bike and Ski even though they were slightly more expensive then Christys sports. I like to try to support small local businesses and was excited to find somewhere nearby with rentals. It was completely my mistake and due to the snowstorm of 8" on Thursday and having three young children I totally forgot to return the skis and was 2 days late. As soon as I realized that I called the shop and explained what happened. He told me it was ok and no big deal. Apparently he thought it was no big deal because he planned to charge me almost $100 for my oversight. As they were trying to look up my info for my return they could not find my name or number because they had put both incorrectly into their system. Then as he told me it would be $100 he saw I was upset. Rather then showing any sort of empathy he starts telling me that he fails to see how its his fault and asks me why Im upset. I told him I understood it was my fault but I wish they had contacted me when they realized they were gone. He gave me a big song and dance about how it was spring break and they were busy so I needed to pay for the skis, yet if the skis were that in demand I dont understand why they didnt call. Through all of this he stood there with my credit card so I couldnt leave and continued to be rude and state it wasnt his responsibility. I totally get it was my mistake but I thought his demeanor and the way he treated me as the customer was completely uncalled for. I will never go back here and was extremely disappointed. Ill be trying out Country Pedalar down the street and suggest others avoid this store especially seeing as Im not the first one with a negative review about their service.

The folks that own and run this shop are very nice and they know a lot more than I do when it comes to bikes and accessories. However, do not take your skis or snowboard to get tuned up here. The edges of our gear appear to have been shaved with a electric sander or grinder. Very disappointed in how the edges were treated at this shop. I would give them a chance at anything else, but not this service. Go elsewhere. UPDATE: I am certainly not one to go out a bash a business for the fun of it. The service of using an electric beveler on a already fairly clean snowboard came as a shock. I stand by my review of that service and that there are other ways to tune a snowboard. However, this shop and its employees have always been friendly and helpful. So it would be unfair for me to rate the entire business on the one experience. But I hope it does save people from coming in an expecting one thing and getting another. The lesson here is communication. I could have asked specifically what they were going to do with it -- they could have communicated the method they use on all snowboards. Happy new year. Snowboard tuning ** Staff and overall friendliness ****

Being relatively new to the community and wanting to ride again, I bought a high-end mountain bike from this store choosing to support small business in the community. I knew it was used when I bought it, and asked several key questions: Is it in good condition? How are the brakes? Would you buy it? Have you done a tune up? Etc... All of my questions were answered in the affirmative. A couple of rides in, I knew something was wrong, all of my cables were loose, my bicycle stopped shifting cleanly and the breaks had a horrible squeak. I called, and the response was: "It has been dusty, you just need to clean your pads." I had been traveling a lot, and just pulled the bike out to do a spring tune up, I pull the brake pads only to find them just this side of existence, after getting the chain inspected found that to be in need of replacing, seals around the shock cracked, and many other issues. Needless to say, if you want to spend your money, choose to do so somewhere else in our community. There are far more trustworthy businesses in the area, and I regret ever having done business here.

Ive stopped by this shop twice now, the first time was basically for free advice about a private party bike purchase I was making. The owners couldnt have been more knowledgeable and gracious. Its a little out of my way, but they impressed enough I drove back today to buy my son a new bike. Second verse same as the first-awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and had just the right bike. Sized my son and adjusted his bike like we were getting a high-end full sized rig. Too cool. Basically ended up spending about sixty bucks more than I would have at a big-box for a much higher quality bike and received service that is in a whole different galaxy. Only reason not to come here is if you need the absolute cheapest or have a thing for being ignored while wandering around under a forty foot high ceiling. As for me, I couldnt be happier with these folks, great place.
